we do eat pretty healthily we just eat too much! I try to give him smaller portions and he then goes and gets crisps and bread later in the evening.

Fill him up with low calorie stuff after you've stuffed a proper meal into him.

    Z when i am dieting!

    Is he insecure?

What you need to do, is to say that you're going to be dieting over Christmas - that should get some seasonal goodies out of him... ;)

Though you should get your gallstone problem sorted out before then... :naughty:

Oh dear - sounds like your OH likes you as you are LT and is worried you're going to go overboard with the dieting and turn into a toast-rack . How about looking for lower fat options for him to try making instead? (although without drawing his attention to them being lower fat etc!) - Muffins are generally better than ordinary cakes, for example, depending on the recipe used of course.

on proper MSE front (before i get kicked off for not actually ever talking money), i've just made myself £9 selling onion sets. For the lottie i bought bags but there was too many for me to plant and look after so i thought i'd have a punt and put them on the notice board at work. Surprisingly enough i've sold a load. I've made enough to cover the price of my 3 bags of seed spuds and probably one bag of the onions. Every little helps! I have been really good though and the money has been transfered straight to the pre CC payment savings account as that's where the purchase of the latest gardening stuff is sitting.
I'm definitely going to list seedlings on the notice board when they stick their heads up and say hello. I sold toms a couple of years ago and did quite well with them.

i think that the money is now going to be going towards some strawberry plants which is fine by me. Cost neutral fruit is always good.

Just checked all the bank accounts, only one surprise but it was a temporary forgetfull episode on my part. Really worried that things are going to be too tight next month, i've spent too much on the CC, and though OH is due to contribute to it i can see that going by the wayside as usual. Gonna have to be mean and leave him with less pocket money than usual but maybe that will be a lesson learnt (god i sound harsh don't I?) as usually i have to do the struggling and the bailing out of us.
