Sorry to hear that your OH new found culinary skills are so far related to pudding. But what about talking him about stretching himself to the main courses? Could he be distracted away this way?
Otherwise you are going to just have to explain to him, that whilst you love the fact that he is being creative and making food, that in doing so he is sabotaging you because you want to be thinner and more healthy....
I don't envy you

chev, to be fair to Mr LT he does a fair line in savoury foods as well. We're negotiating the cake/pudding lines. but he's sort of getting used to me saying no to things, i keep blaming the gallstone thing so he's not taking it too personally. Men are such sensitive beasts aren't they? that certainly wasn't in the handling manual given to me when we got hitched

I wish my DH could cook. He is great at warming things up (pizza etc) but doesn't cook cook. He does really try though so I'm lucky in the sense I get nights off, we just have beans on toast then :rotfl:Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Mine can, but creates a mess of biblical proportions in the doing so, so more often I prefer that he doesn't....!

Just noticed a link to the side of the page here about the banks putting "more" £5 notes in cashpoints.....MORE? I can't remember that last time I even SAW one in a cashpoint! :rotfl: Must have been 20 years ago!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
