hi KC hope you are well.

Taxi & Kat, we did have a lovely weekend, didn't get much done around the house but got over feeling that guilt very quickly lol
  • Fab weekend there then LT!

Oh, and I've been doing the subscription updating thing this morning too KC!

 at your car costs VL - mind you ours both fall into the £30 tax band which helps massively - when I was searching for one to get for MrEH that was one of my stipulations! :D

Oopsie I just realised I got that a bit wrong! That money also covers yearly memberships for a few charities, although even so it is a ridiculous amount but I am a bit of an 'enthusiast'...

at least it's not all car costs vl :) i think i would have to change cars if it was to cost me that each month. Though i have to admit it costs me almost £200 in petrol each month which does my head in.

Managed to find out my net pay ready for next monday. After getting over my disappointment that payday's not till Monday, which is completely unfair i'll have you know, it should be FRIDAY!!!! it's not my fault the 28th is on a Monday this month. Well anyway..... i've done my accounts for next month and da da daaaaaaaaaaaaa i've gotten not just one month closer to debt freedom but i've also managed to knock another month off the end of it. So with a fair wind i should be debt free during Sept 12. and by that stage i will according to my plans have also paid an extra £5k off the mortgage and saved almost £3k into the OMG! or legal fees savings account.

Unfortunately i don't make it under £10k in March, i'll have to wait until April for that pleasure. :(

    thanks Taxi & Chev.
just sorted out the leccy, and kicking myself that i was too chicken to do it a couple of months ago! Should save us £60 a year, not much, but over 10% of our annual bill.
I genuinely don't think we can save anything on our water bill as we only pay £11 per month for two of us on a meter.
now i'm wondering what else i can save us some money on..... i always negotiate our house and car insurances when they're due for renewal.
only thing i think we need to sort is life insurance for Mr LT, was a bit scared when i looked last month but need to sort it out! any ideas anyone?

ok just to warn you i'm a bit narked and about to rant! well ish....

as you'll know i've just swapped my leccy rate over and will save £60 in the next 12 mths based on last 12 months useage. Well i'm getting a bit p'd off with Eon, every bloomin quarter they're changing my DD, just before winter they take it from £62 down to £42, i started winter £90 odd quid in credit and finish £12 in CREDIT! so what do they want to do????? increase it back up to £61. It's been up and down more times than a tarts knickers in the past 12 months! I feel that all i do is ring them up and tell them to buck their ideas up, and yet they're back at it the next quarter. It's so bloomin annoying. Given that i have 12 months before the next winter quarter, £42 per month will more than cover my annual consumption (their estimate is within £3 of my own), well that is, as long as they don't return my credit again like they did this year. Now i'm gonna have to ring again from work and have a go.

feel free to ignore the above! :)
