yay caught up at last!! So sorry that you still havent moved...its a flipping mare isnt it! We decided to stay here a couple of years rather than move at the mo...couldnt face all the hassle and with house prices so low...
Hope the surgery meeting goes ok...didnt realise you were waiting? i cant stand my pct as despite the fact that my bmi is above 50 they still wouldnt fund bariatric surgery as too healthy; they just make the rules up as they go so well done for getting funding!
Hoping thet the ove comes soon and well done on doing so well on mavis! How's the hex blanket coming? Post a piccy if you can...would love to see it in progress!

hi isom, glad to see you pop by.
Hex blanket is still in a bag as individual hex's, i've about 135ish now, way behind my sister who's already started stitching hers together.

i thnk it will be a long time before i actually get an operation, if i ever do, i've still got a lot of hoops to jump through, even though the pct have agreed funding. Didn't believe they would actually agree that either to be honest.

Well done LT on the weight loss and glad you have had 3 bits of good news this month.

Also well done for getting things sorted in the kitchen, you sound as if you will be fully prepared when move day comes round which will make life a little less stressful.:T:T

    Have a good day

not been a very happy LT over the last day or so, work has completely gotten to me, my workloads are just too high and i don't know how i am going to be able to get everything done within the deadlines, so had a mini meltdown and almost crumpled into tears but held back.
added to that there's yet more problems with the moving house thing so we still don't know if we're moving, and if it all happens at the last minute i doubt we'll be able to get the removals company to do the work, so that's all piling up on me at the moment.
argh! any one want to swap lives for a little while?
i did lose another 2lb which is a minor miracle as my usual response to stress is to eat.

Hope everyone else is good though.

Well done on the weightloss though - celebrate the small stuff and remind yourself that you can cope with the bigger stuff. Deal with the things that you can and let go of the things that you can't.

Right, you know where I work and the deadlines are always tight. I use a "things to do today" notebook as I find them easier (they can be expensive about £3, but most good office supplies places keep them). It splits things in to: to do (listed with priority), notes, appointments and special attention. I list out what I have to do the next day. It helps me see what has to be done and I can put an estimate on each thing and also if its something I can start and leave running whilst doing something else (i.e. clearing old log files, moving emails etc). I find this really helps me, would something like this work for you? Also if the deadlines are unrealistic due to lack of resource, a piece of software being so slow (when it shouldn't be) then let them know, and don't be afraid to say.

I'm sure your house move will work out soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'm sorry LT that work is so stressful for you at the moment. Unixgirl's advice is very sound and helpful, you have some good friends on here!

I wish the move would sort itself out for you, so you can get on things there. Hopefully, it will very soon and you'll be in for the summer.

And well done on the 2lb, that's good news!

Look after yourself LT, try not to let it get on top of you.

thank you for all your kind words.

Uni i'm the queen of to do lists, task lists and blocking my calendar out with things i really must do, the problem is just that i already do more than one persons work and we've just hit our busiest time of the year, when it usually gets bad but this time it's even worse because of other deadlines, its like a perfect storm! guess i just need to shut up and get on with things.
Having to take time off at this time is making things worse but i have to take the time.

LT, if its not possible to do what's being asked of you in the alloted time you do need to say. You'll only make yourself ill trying to chase your tail.

Right, puppy update. Now keeping 2. The last one hasn't sold, but at least they'll keep each other company.....or plot to take over the world.... one of the two.
