off for a nose-itch on your thread now Uni
hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, i started off at knitting club which was nice. Then back for an afternoon off box packing and taking things down. I've washed two pairs of curtains, one still out on the line and they won't be going back up until we're in the new place. At least i know we're moving with clean curtains - doesn't that make me sound sad!
I got some washing up liquid and washing powder to the kitchen curtain pole and it's good as new, got all the oil and paint off it no problems so that will look fab in our new house. It's starting to feel real now, even though we still haven't had it definitely confirmed, but we should be moving next week yay!!!!0 -
Next week! Goodness, I'd be in a flat spin by now. You seem so calm and collected about it all.
:jto clean curtains.
Have a good evening LT.

little do you know piq, i've been in a flat spin and gone so beyond that in stress levels that i'm now in the calm plain that a swan lives in.
thankfully we're almost finished packng though, but then we did start back on Boxing day because we thought we'd be moving by the end of January, little did we know!0 -
Well I'm impressed anyway, you seem in control to me. Now don't let me down and lose the kettle in the move!

Well done on nearly being packed.
I echo what others have said about your work load. Sometimes you have to ask what other thing should I stop working on....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hiya Lemon
Delighted to hear that you will be moving soon and with clean curtains too. Good to get that job out of the way. You must be very very exited.
Hope you get the support at work you deserve and make sure you keep letting your boss know the situation.

thanks everyone, got the kitchen curtains clean now, and the front door curtain. I've also got the other laundry up to date so i can now put a cleaning cycle on and scrub the machine and it's ready for it's new owner. Just realised that we've packed our bargain dishwasher cleaners though so will have to pick another one up to do that machine and then that's sorted.
Mr LT has filled in the gaps around the living room floor which i've wanted him to do for ages. At least we're getting things cleaned around the place so it's not such a job on the day we move.
my job for today is to defrost the freezer, we'll still have loads of stuff on the day that we move but at least it will be frost free0 -
Hi LT
Glad you have a moving date at last and well done you for being so organised.
I know you have been trying to keep on top of everything and it will show on moving day when it will all run smoothly.
Just make sure kettle, teabags, milk, sugar (unless you are sweet enough already) and coffee are all in a safe place on the day. Oh and some mugs to drink it in.
Well done o the chat with the manager, at least you have told them things from your perspective.
hope the de-frost went well, catch up soon
