Bad is the mother who eats her childrens' Easter eggs. On the other hand, I was saving them from dental decay...

So that's what my mum was doing all these years!!! Thanks for clearing that up Piq

LT when my mum was doing WW she used to buy a bag of buttons (the chocolate ones-she didn't lose her marbles!) and she knew exactly how many buttons was 1point. She would split the packet into 1point treat bags and keep them in the fridge in case she was desperate. That way she got chocolate but didn't ruin her diet

See what a great mum you have starnac! But you knew that already, didn't you? Saving you from the chocolate like that!

Great idea on the chocolate buttons. Would you be able to freeze the one point bags, if your will-power was weak?

i can't beleive i walked away from the bag of maltesers after i'd had just 10, they were even laying there shouting at me! I've picked up some curly wirleys cos they're 3 points and have he choc and sweetness hit that i need. It's weigh in day today (argh!) and i don't think i've done amazingly well though i've stuck to my points. I think i have too many points. Ah well i'm sure i'll find out tonight.

I hope you've done well, especially after walking away from the maltesers, I don't think I could have done that!

hi sorry for worrying folk. I lost 3.5lb which is ok. would have liked to match the 8lb someone else loss their first week but begars can't be choosers.

got another piece of good news, scary but good, my pct have approved exceptional funding for some surgery (potentially). It does mean i have to go to Luton next week and i need to get there for 9am (i don't do mornings!). tis all very scary. I've never been to Luton before.

been trying to push for some progress on the house and have resorted to speaking to my buyer directly, but fingers crossed we may get somewhere pretty quickly.

Is this the surgery you've been waiting on LT? That is good news. Luton's an ok place, visited a few times. I know you need to be there early but could you go to bed earlier the night before? Just to make sure you are you're normally cheery self and not tired.

That is wonderful, it's a great start don't knock it! 3.5lb is plenty, the rest would be water anyway, so :j:j:j:j[a few of those yellow jumpy things will help bring the weight down too :D]

I don't know about your surgery, I'll have to read back through your diary to find out, but if you need it and want it, that's good news too.

The house will suddenly rush through and you'll be running around madly [and a couple more pounds will fall off with no effort needed!]

    Glad you're back.
