Hi Lemon
Dont worry there is a buyer out there for your lovely flat. It will happen.

I had to look 'em up too! Hexipuffs... cute name.
I bet the poppy looks brilliant, and next time you have someone to look round they will be struck by the stylishness and put in an offer.I've noticed there are lots of poppyified kitchen accessories around too if you were going to make a theme of it.

we will probably use the colour rather than go for lots of poppies but they will make a show in our new kitchen (at some stage).

My fingers are thoroughly crossed - re the heating up the flat before they come on sunday
Would baking anything that morning help heat the house up and feel nice and homey?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

i've come up with that cunning plan Pippi, i'll make a lemon drizzle cake to make the place warm and smell nice.
taxi we don't have central heating, just one storage heater and some movable oil filled radiators, at the moment we've not had to turn anything on as it's not been too cold but i'm tempted to in the bedroom as i like that window to be open which really cools the room down.
on an MSE front, electric readings have finally been entered online and we're currently in credit which is a good place to be just before the heating gets turned on and guzzles the stuff.0 -
All the best for Sunday Lemon. Def make a drizzle cake:):):):) I would turn on the heating in all the rooms. Always better to be too warm than too cold. Hope it goes really well for you Lemon.

well we've had our viewer, she didn't stay long to be honest, probably the shortest viewing in history which may not be a good sign but I think she like it, well i hope so. She had to travel about half an hour to get here so i'm hoping that means she was pretty interested to start with, i also got the impression if she bought it it would be for rental which is fine. i'm sure we'll hear from the estate agents tomorrow or the next day. I'm guessing not to expect anything positive so if it's anything other than that i shall just feel lucky.
I didn't get any baking done as we were busy blizting the place, we spent last night wrapping pressies so we ended up having to sort everything out this morning. i thought we were just wrapping the stuff for Mr LT's family but he decided to drag everything out so thats how we spent the entire evening.
we've given into winter today, there is a heater on in the living room now so i guess this is the start of another winter. Hope it didn't feel too cold when she came around but it was ok for us.0 -
Ooooo, fingers and toes crossed for a good result on the viewing!0

Fingers crossed LT.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
