meant mad panic get the flat sorted type of evening last night - boy do i need a cleaner/housekeeper/tardis type cupboard!
Oooh good luck - I so know that rush round and clean thing - was awful trying to keep house clean for viewings - now it is empty it is less of a bother!
Hope they fall in love with your place0 -
i'm guessing we'll hear what she thought in the next day or so, life is getting pretty hard though when you spend all your time with your fingers crossed.
at least this place is now spick and span just hope we can get lots of viewings whilst it's in this state.0 -

*ahem*...*ahem*...*ahem!*
...it's past the afternoon, and into early evening....the MSE-verse is poised....wait to 'yay' or 'bleugh' your viewers for their brilliant or dodgy opinions (delete as required)...
....because they shall be judged....oooooo yes, they shall beeeee judged0 -
lol
she liked the flat - YAY!
she's thinking about it - HHMM may come back for another viewing, won't make a quick decision, wants to know if we have telephone points - fair enough but i guess the phones in the bedroom and living room weren't a give away.
she thinks some bits need modernising (delved deeper and she means the kitchen) & kitchen is dark - possibly the start of negotiating terms????? who knows
dilemma - the guy who put my kitchen in about 5-6 years ago put some doors on upside down, they're 'oak effect', and i've been worried someone will notice and use it as an excuse to try and knock the price of a new kitchen off the flat price (a silly amount like 1k). Now we can get new doors in B&Q half price for £215 in white gloss slab, get some melamine paint to paint one side panel and the kick boards white to match. we could reuse the current unit handles and unit carcasses. Now should we do it?
i'm also planning on culling the contents of the cupboards, and reorganising stuff so i can get rid of three large shelves on the back wall to open that out
i'm figuring if we put on white new style doors then it can be advertised as newly modernised, it will be light and bright and although it wouldn't be every buyers taste it would stop the potential - 'it needs a new kitchen' game.
argh not sure what to do answers on a post card please.0 -
i would suggest you do it if you think you can live with it. would you do it anyway? will it save you money in the long run? if yes then go for it! don't forget to offer the old doors on freecycle! chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

i'm tempted to just leave the issue, but just make sure that we take the shelves down and declutter it. That should brighten it up in my opinion.0

At the moment I would wait for feedback from the Estate Agent - you can always go for it if it is negative!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
