I don't follow this. Title of this thread infers you've been conned, I think you should go back to them before making accusations. It could simply be a mistake and you will either be offered the 3GB as shown on your paperwork or the contract will be cancelled. It's someone else's fault.0

i do feel i have been conned, as the guy was very open about everything he was doing and showing me his screen, until he did the final bit of processing, thats what makes me think he knew what he was doing.
and with regards to the tarring sales people with the same brush, it comes from personal experience, maybe it's because they are going through tough times with the recession and having to meet quotas etc, but recently i havent ever met a sales person who helps me with what i want, but trys to convince me i dont want what i am trying to get, but that i need a more expensive version or with extra things added on as i must be wrong when i am out to get what i already know in advance what i want... if that makes sense. maybe once again its just a northern ireland thing, maybe more ruthless here due to a worse market and higher prices.
i am not trying to get out of this on the basis that i think its a bad deal, i am happy enough to be paying £25 a month for 2 years, big money i know when it all adds up, but i had it all worked out in advance and had made the decision to be committed to this type of contract, i am just annoyed that it appears someone has been so open then completely changes everything i signed up for, i know 1gb and 3gb arent huge amounts of data, but to have to pay the same price for a third of what i was offered, its not right.0 -
Easy to use 1GB of data within a month. You really should take it back immediately and cancel if that is your choice. Don't wait.0

yeah im going to take it back and see what they can do, if they get it up to the 3gb a month and an apology that is the least i would accept, as i will mainly be using it within wifi zones ie my work, my house, freinds and relatives houses who allow me to use their wifi and public wifi hotspots, so 3gb would be fine for me, and i dont download music or films or anything like that, it would be more for getting research done and downloading pdf's etc.0
