My Dave is going back too Some functions seem to work with the remote and other don't.... he makes a funny noise when he high fives but doesn't actually move his arm so he half works! I have reserved one from Argos for collection tomorrow and will return this one to store

I work in the Cribbs Causeway branch, and I know that a fair few of these things have been returned as faulty

Mine was due in store yesterday but I haven't had an email to say he has arrived. Have you had emails when he arrived in store for collection?
I can't get to the store until tomorrow so I better phone first I suppose.

I ordered my Dave on the 6th December at 06:34am (after looking back at my email confirmation) and I have just had an email to cancel as they do not have stock. As I am confident that a lot of you ordered after me and have received their orders I would appreciate if you could please take a few mins to look back at your confirmation and let me know when you ordered as I am absolutely fuming with M&S as I coul've ordered elsewhere if their incompetent ordering system had been a bit more fair! Grrr Rant over!! xxx

Mine was orderd on the 6th but later than you,my confirmation email says 9.45am. Mine was originally to be delivered on the 13/14th but then I got an email to say it would be january 16th . Eventually I managed to change it to store delivery for the 21st and I've just checked ,he is waiting for me to pick him up.
They have had Dave back in stock many times since the 6th so thats shocking they have cancelled yours,get on that phone!!!!!!
Tell them that your friend who ordered after you had got hers!

I can confirm I ordered two on the 6th Dec at 10:08 and they were delivered on the 13th Dec.
