    I ordered mine on the 6th and dave is sat at our local dhl depot so im expecting him monday. Hope you all get yours before christmas.

    Not at all impressed will now have to try to find the item elsewhere and pay more. what has annoyed me the most is that the item on the website kept coming back in stock - if they were in doubt about their sock levels then why offer it for sale? Also its taken them almost a week to tell me its out of stock :mad: A real snotty email will soon be on its way.

    Luckily I have just reserved one of the last ones at my local Argos store.

    I am the same with cancelled orders now i cannnot order online as it wont be here in time and i really dont think standing in a cue with a 3 year old with aspergers is a good idea!!! i ordered online as it helped me out and now i am stuck!

    I had the same problem with M & S last year on orders I placed for Xmas presents at the end of Nov - the delivery date was changed 4 times until it became after Xmas - I didn't get anywhere with CS as they kept saying they couldn't do anything about it & the money had been taken from my account.
    I eventually phoned head office & told them I was going to my local paper - I told them I was a single parent with 4 kids & that to save the embarasment of not being able to give presents to my relatives I would need to use the money saved for the Xmas dinner & that we would have no xmas dinner 'cos of them

    My money was rapidly refunded & a gift card to say sorry was posted the same day

    M&S CS at Xmas is always shocking - there are threads on here every year about them doing the same

    Yep me too, does have batteries in though so am going to have to go out and buy some more to check it. Someone else reported there's didn't work even with new batteries

    Mine came today and the demo works, not been able to get it out to check properly though.
  • I am not shopping with M&S again, its ridiculous! Fulfill your current orders before putting back in stock !!!!!!! I have heard absolutely ZILCH, ordered on Monday, still not dispatched even though i changed it to store collection, bearing in mind Im disabled and getting into town when theres snow/ice is impossible on my mobility scooter. If they had cancelled it when realised no stock then at least I could have reserved elsewhere, but not even that! my order status is still the same as it was on the 6th! so why are others getting these emails etc and mine has been ignored and left unchanged with no attempt to keep me updated? I am fuming!!!
