The "order on it's way" email was Thursday night and received Friday:).

Picked my monkey up from my local M&S store today, he's really cute! Sorry to hear that some of you will have to wait until January, I feel really lucky to have got mine, as I'd heard about M&S sending out emails saying things were out of stock and delayed, so when I ordered it I did wonder if I'd get it, it's really not good enough is it?

Ordered mine on Monday and just got the email to say it won't be delivered until January now! Guess that's going to have to be cancelled and am going to have to try and find elsewhere. Find it a bit confusing that people ordering later then me have had theirs dispatched - not begrudging you yours but wish mine was coming

It seems that the couriers are so overwhelmed with deliveries in the areas affected that M & S are holding orders until they will be able to deliver (or at least that's my guess). I have tried to swap my not yet despatched order to store collection, but it just comes up with an error, so instead I have e-mailed cust services to sort something out. I'm hoping the error isn't that there is none in stock!

Now I've just got to chase my matalan, thorntons, boo hoo, IWOOT and ASOS orders!!!! (Can you tell I didn't leave the house for a while and internet shopping kept me amused?)

I placed 2 orders both on monday. I placed mine at 9.47am then another for my friend at 10.07am. I have received mine this morning and the other one has been despatched and should be here monday. It is currently in the leeds depot. It seems a bit random how people are getting their orders cancelled and others aren't.

Mine is broken too, tried it with new batteries but nothing doing. thought it was too good to be true that I got mine I usually miss out on this stuff

I reserved mine at Argos yesterday and picked it up this morning. It's more expensive at £16.66 but still cheaper than WH Smith. Given the comments here, I've tried pressing Dave's tummy and all is fine.

If it helps when i was speaking to one of the managers yesterday after they messed mine up, he said they expect stock back in in 7 days, maybe January is just a safety net for them?
