  • WEll we're back in the frozen north! Got back from the funeral last night - kids exhausted, but we did manage to get seats on the trains both ways, which given the disruption to the transport system is nothing short of miraculous!

    Now running to do a couple of HHc's - lots of tidying to do! DD2's birthday today and party is on Saturday - 8 girls, fancy dress, pizza and the X factor! Still the bathroom needs a de grot and the rest of the place needs a panic tidy! (rushing round with binbags and putting all the carp in the garage where it can't be seen!

    Livingroom floor decluttered, wm on and dw nearly finished, fire lit and Rhys all sorted. Our beds made and all bedroom curtains opened. :D

    Gonna have a cuppa and then fill the stick box and let Bo out for a run about.

    cyclingyorkie Happy Birthday to your DD.

    Now and then it seems that life is just too much.

    Soappie, I was just thinking about your chickens and when you'd get an egg only yesterday...cosmic :D

    ..and double congratulations, as the mother of some lovely chickens, I know how proud and delighted you must feel with your first egg.:rotfl::j

    Today have parcels to send, writing up to do, christmas present ideas to form :think:, my van to sort, pork to slow cook if it defrosts and I'd like a Herman cake starter so will look into making one of them.

    Good morning everyone!
    Poor old DH is out chipping ice in the street again. It's sheet ice right down the street. I'm so proud of him! Everything's dripping, so it must be a bit warmer here.... although it doesn't feel it!
    lil_me :j:beer::j Well done!!!!!
    Vanilla <<hugs>> I hope it works out. What a horrible awkward postition she put you in. You did well for her, and she really ought to be grateful.
