Oh boy the brown stuff has hit the fan here. Hubby told BIL last night so you can imagine what way that went. Hubby felt he had no choice because BIL sat with him for 2 hours while he got a tattoo done and BIL was saying about getting a laptop for christmas that he could pay off and getting the phone and internet in, then how great it was that 2 wages was coming into the house and hubby just couldn't lie. I rang my sister last night but she hung up so goodness knows what will happen now.

Right kids back to school today, i need to do a food shop.

Just a quickie for now as mum n dad are going to a local shopping outlet place so I am going along for a ride. Must give them some space though as they need to do some 'Santa shopping'.

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
Find and wipe the worksurfaces
[/STRIKE]Level Two
Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clear and wipe a shelf or window sill
Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
[/STRIKE]Sort through and clean out one cupboard
[STRIKE]Clean the oven and hob[/STRIKE]..


Extras

1. Clean out the fridge.. make use of anything almost past its best
2. Wash the windows
3. Clean the top of the kitchen wall units.. if you can reach.. no accidents please!!
4. Dust and Deweb

Tuesday - living room, hallway, stairs
Level one
[STRIKE]Clear the floor of clutter
Tidy the baubles and lights on the tree.. OR PUT UP YOUR TREE (I have about a dozen baubles strewn about already.. thanks cats!)
[/STRIKE] I will not be putting up my tree until a few days before the Big Day, and even a flying mule won;t make me, so there :p:p:p
Level two
[STRIKE]Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room
Wipe and water plants
[/STRIKE]Wash the windows
Level three
[STRIKE]Wipe the sofas and wash any skanky soft furnishings
[/STRIKE]Sort coats, shoes and bags
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs.

Extras

1. Check the smoke alarms
2. Fill a binbag for charity shop
3. Finalise your christmas menu and shopping list
4. Defluff and deweb these rooms

Wednesday - Master messroom! and landing
Level one
Strip the bedding and get it washed!
30 minutes floordrobe/junk clearing!!
Level Two
Vacuum and turn the mattress, vacuum the landing and floor
Remake the bed
Clean the windows
Level Three
Wash any curtains/etc that are in need
Wipe down all the furry paintwork
Fill a binbag for charity shop or the bin!

Extras

1. HHI
2. Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs
3. Clean out any pets/wash pet bedding
4. Wash some light shades

Thursday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
Level One
Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!
Defragment PC and run spyware scans while scrubbing
Level Two
Wash windows and any chairs/sofas
Clean curtains/blinds etc
Declutter floors
Level Three
Wash bathmats/shower curtain and furry bog hats
Replace any sponges/flannels/toothbrushes etc that need it
throw out any empty bottles.. decant dribbles into fuller bottles
Extras

1. Finalise those last minute presents you have to buy..
2. Post all the cards you need to post
3. Wrap all the presents for family/friends
4. Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are only closed for one day!!!!

Friday - children pits, spare rooms or just neglected spaces
Level One
Make half an hour for yourself
Change and dirty bedding that needs it!
Level Two
Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Wash any soft furnishings that require a wash

Clear out the toy boxes.. (or a box of guff) .. Santa wants to fill them up.. but he can't if there is no space!
Clean out any bins.. and do a binbag dance!!
Clear out a grotty cupboard!.. any cupboard so long as it is grotty!

2. Update remaining present lists
3. Wrap remaining presents
4. Make a timetable for christmas preparations.. turkey in.. turkey out.. etc

School run done and i've a meeting with the head at 12. School play cancelled tonight so at there will be less running about. Need to sit now and write out what i want to happen with DD, then i won't forget anything when i'm in.

Shysarah and Penpen, i honestly think she wouldn't have told him. There both very good to us and it was told because we didn't want them to get into anymore trouble but she won't see it that way. The last she huffed we didn't speak for over a year.

Penpen i hope your DD gets where she needs to go.

Well - first day for TWO WEEKS when I can fly unhindered. The vallikids are at school, it's the weekend, off I go...

FWIW Vanilla I think your hubby has done the right thing...apart from anything else it's not your problem and it's not fair of her to drag you in. As you say though, their relationship might take a real hammering over this.
