Congrats Soappie. You can't beat a bit of security, especially when it's backed up with a bit of responsibility.
Oh heavens - MIL is visiting tomorrow. Got to attack the landing now, rather than delaying it.
Have bought tree, it's sitting in garden for assembly tomorrow night. Have got MIL a present - bird feeder & 1kg sunflower hearts, all special offer in garden centre where we got the tree . She loves watching the birds, even though she's a bit vague on the names.
Also got myself a natural wreath with juniper berries and stuff on it, added mistletoe, put that up as the magpies watched me. I wonder how much of it will be left in the morning, as they seem to check out everything I plant/put up?
Nearly got myself caught checking out an outside reindeer light thingy, but dodged behind compost bin, so nobody need know I considered paying out good money for twigs bent round an elk shaped wire frame, with some LEDs wrapped round them. And making The Bloke scale the bay window to attach it out of reach of any local hoolies. But at least I could say 'whilst you've got the steps out, you did say that you'd put the cage with the fat balls in up for me...'
BTW, the only thing worse than having someone else's kid saying they feel sorry for yours (because you're an evil witch - by implication), Piggers, is to be a kid and have people come up and say to you that they really like your mum and they wish she was theirs :eek:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Putting up my list for tomorrow now as going to be hectic in the morning:

Evening,
Soappie - many congrats.I'm still putting away 3 things in each room i go into. Still not making much progress with the lists, but my head is full of so much 'stuff' that it's taking all my energy to not lose the plot.
Am just gonna head for the bath as I am sooo cold. Had to go out to a meeting, and the the heating was a bit dodgy there. Came home to find DH wrapping Christmas presents including the ones for my staff! Bless!
Really need to get my finger out after work tomorrow.
