Not while I have the opportunity to make someone smile. ;)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Still on a learning curve here....

Ive now learned that when you have a car with a boot ( instead of a hatchback) its a good idea to clear it of snow before you open it (you dont half feel stupid shovelling snow out your boot in tesco car park)

I have also learned that although taking a bottle of de icer with you to work so you can get back in the car when finished is a great idea - taking it out of the car and into work is even better ( feel even stupider trying to get into a frozen car that has de-icer sat on the passenger seat)

I sometimes wonder how I got to this age with out serious mishap :rotfl:

Suki I know just how you feel! How Ive got this far excapes me. Mind you I am a fountain of knowledge in work to the youngsters about the perils and dangers of the weather (all of which have their Mums and Dads picking them up right outside the door at finishing time) and then they cheerfully wave at me as they pass whilst I am going through a blizzard back to my car miles away to avoid parking charges. They think its hilarious that I travel with a broom in the car (not good for the hatchback snow I know) and all the essentials listed before.

Relief at last - finally found :
    dooyoo .co. uk/ department-stores/ b-m-stores/ reviews/
(I added spaces 'cos not allowed to post links)

"B&M Retail Ltd has been established for some 30 years and is now one of the UK's fastest growing retailers"
I've never heard of it :o
    bm stores .co. uk/
They "specialise in top brands at the lowest prices"

My nearest is Hemel Hempstead - only ever driven through that town - must go and take a look.
