Originally on Orange, believe we have unlocked phone but when ever you switch on it asks for the security code. We can't do anything else with phone. Have tried standard security code i.e 12345 but to no avail.

Anybody any ideas please.

I have not a clue where to look for an unlocking code - can anyone help?

I notice on page 1 of this thread it says that some of the software supplies incorrect codes for Nokia 1100s. But they don't appear in the list of models that are unlockable. Could this be why I'm having trouble?

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.
