hi baldhead thanks for the code but my nokia 6230i says restricted still so i guess i used all my chances up. Does this mean i need to go to a market to get it unlocked or is it possible to buy clips (i think its called) from the internet.

No, there's a lot of professional unlockers around and should cost you about a£10

There are no remote codes for that phone, because it’s a BB5 phone. The best bet is to contact your service provider and ask them if they can unlock it for you, but it will cost.
