Phew, they called back as they wanted a quick personal reference, given them a number to call hopefully that's everything

Glad it's sorted out.... they had done the same with me... wanted a personal reference to cover periods when I didn't work. Best of luck.

Remember to stay calm, collected and do not speak too quickly. Try and sound warm and patient with the interviewer, they need people who are prepared to get out there and actually do the job, this needs determination. Also they may ask something to establish your "team work" credentials.

I had an interview for a collector role 3 weeks ago and still not heard anything. The interview didn't go that great, I was fully prepared, knew what I would be asked after reading a few forums, but I just could not understand the man doing the interview and had to keep asking him to repeat himself. I am not expecting to be successful, but it would be nice to know for definate.

I had my telephone interview on 26 November and am still waiting to hear. I emailed a couple of weeks back and they said that they are still working through applications.
  • I had a telphone interview before Christmas. The interviewer was in a busy call centre, so I could hardly hear what he was saying. Most of the questions were yes or no answers, with the only substantial question being about my experience working with customers and with others.

I didn't think it went that well, but found out within a week that I had been successful. I am now waiting to hear when my half day training will be have subsequently done the online exercise and training.
