In 6 hours yesterday i only got to speak to 1 person.
A lot of people are not answering the door because they disagree with the Census - partly because of privacy concerns and because it has been contracted to Lockheed Martin. I think you will find that once you have toddled up the road, occupants will mysteriously come out of the woodwork :rotfl:

Its not even kept confidential - some people might not want their information being disclosed even after 100 years.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

fair point. so employer ONS, but pls send ref requests to Capita.

Capita (or ONS) will not respond to any request for references sent to them. At the end of your contract, you will recieve an email from them with a reference attached. That is the only reference you will get.

really? i thought an ED was the quantum size area and wasn't subdivided.

maybe I'm getting that part wrong then.

I basically live 5 mins from my work and I live inside the areas I have to cover, so I count it as my workload like I was told.

    Hi,

I realise that the last day for SE's is the 16th April - is this the last working day or is it regarded as annual leave?

Sorry - can't find my T&C's at the moment.

Last working day is the 16th, then we have some annual leave. :)

yes, that's true. it didn't occur to me you might actually live in the ED you're doing - i thought no one was assigned EDs they lived in for confidentiality reasons.

I have my own area / street this week, tad strange but I don't mind.

I claim for everything mileage to from meetings, to follow up area and rtn. I also claim from the moment I pick my folder up to see where I should start so usually my meter starts running about 15 mins before I leave the house.

I work 25 hours and only have 8 left to fit in, If we were allowed to work Tuesdays would have probably been finished.

People are not being as polite with this set of work sheets, think they are getting fed up with people knocking on their doors.
