[There is a thread on here about rewardsnow]
You will notice about half way down on the right, at the bottom of the column of information there is another blue link.
This takes you through to a history of the web site entered - (beware, we might check where you have been.)
I found this site because someone was trying to perpetrate an advanced fee fraud on my Rank shares (RNK) all 100 - 150 of them.
It is a complex takeover situation - Google news for more information if interested.
Turned out this never to be repeated offer was from "New York" but the web site was in Cyprus. - it had existed for a month and had been paid for for a year!!
What does "bounce rate" mean?
If you have a bounce rate of 100% it would mean one of two things:
- your site is cr4p, people leave immediately
- your site might just have links on it that take people off somewhere else, which is your monetization strategy (how you make your pennies).
My sites tend to have bounce rates of 60-80%, but I do use a lot of external links for monetization, so that's not a true picture. To me "success" is somebody clicking something; failure would be loading and instantly deciding there's nothing there for them and closing the window or pressing "back".0 -
Ah, how much is your site worth - when run through our guesstimate algorithm, that we only wrote to get traffic to our website, to make money.
Rewardsnow.co.uk Estimated Worth $663.37 USD
So I had a look at some of mine, for comparison:
My main site they guesstimate to be 'worth' $4,258 USD with a bounce rate of 71%. But they figure I make $8/day from it... shows you how wrong they are.
Interestingly, I am in the DMOZ directory.... I never asked to go into that, so that's a "win".0 -
I just checked the site I've been working on all week... it's a right pig of a site and I needed to move stuff around on my ad server, sort out about 20 accounts with ad networks - and next I need to investigate some new software for it.... so it's an ongoing thankless task, but I've discovered some dead wood on my site I removed, which is always good. I also installed my new shiny directory script that keeps things orderly for me... that's now on two sites. Helps me to analyse what's going on/where.
So, that one is 'worth' $67 USD.
Daily earnings $0.03 ... not far off the mark. I think that one was £1 yesterday (nearly).0 -
Got me in OCD mode now. Now checking my "new" domain. Registered it 2-3 years ago, but it's always been forwarded to my main site - and I separated the two last month, installed the directory, started populating it.... another endless task.
$158 for that one.
Daily earnings $0.10 ... I wish it were that much0 -
OK. Now checking one I set up two years that "autoblogs"/runs on feeds.
$375 that one.
Daily earnings $0.58. Probably about right.
Something's not right... they gave that one a PR-6 (exceedingly high/must be wrong). People kill to get links from PR-6 sites they're so valuable.
I just checked that manually, it's just a PR-2... which is impressive bearing in mind it's not a good site0 -
Hubpages, which I don't own
Worth $10million0 -

Have had a lovely first week at new place(s) of work. My new colleagues all seem lovely and I don't feel like the general public want to kill me which is always a bonus. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Yay! That's great news viva.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
