I find it hard to find shoes that fit, so once I get some, I have them reheeled again and again until they're completely worn out.

I've spent more on reheeling/soling or repairing shoes than it cost to buy them because the shoes are lovely and comfortable.

I buy Loakes Oxford Brogues. £89 a pair from a place just off Bow Lane. They last about 8 years although they need a new sole every couple of years.

In Aus they cost $600 a pair!!!!

OH gets his from here, www.slaters.co.uk. Don't know if they ship to OZ but worth a look, cheaper than a plane ticket.

Never described hair as bra strap length - why not say shoulder length?

When I find shoes that fit perfectly, I buy two pairs in different colours.

Other strap/band! Its lower than my shoulders, not as low as my waist....its an obvious marker I guess. If its ''nicer'' I can say, ''My hair, when dry hangs just a bit lower than my shoulder blades''. :)

''Shoulder'' length to me suggests v'long bob, or hair that ''grazes'' the shoulders. :)

    Wait til PN sees this....
    There'll be a mushroom cloud down there...

Either that or a post about re-using an ice-cream tub, after having eaten the ice-cream of course, which was bought whilst on sale for 29p!;)

My lunchbox has tigger on it. The other one is [STRIKE]orange[/STRIKE] Old Gold;)

I have the absolute delight of an evening with Penguin Cafe tonight. They were a fantastic delight when I saw them in February. Plus I've never been to the town hall in birmingham before, so it is nice to go to a new place for something special.:)

Really hope they play this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E3znZoFnN8&feature=related

My last pair about 5 years ago were from Lidl, with a steel toe cap, tax paid at 12 quid.
The pair before that were from Slaters - a bit more expensive and less utilitarian.:D

    Serious question for PN:

    Try this link.

    http://www.yandalo.com/www.rewardsnow.co.uk

[There is a thread on here about rewardsnow]

You will notice about half way down on the right, at the bottom of the column of information there is another blue link.

This takes you through to a history of the web site entered -
(beware, we might check where you have been.winking_smile.gif)

I found this site because someone was trying to perpetrate an advanced fee fraud on my Rank shares (RNK) all 100 - 150 of them.
It is a complex takeover situation - Google news for more information if interested.

Turned out this never to be repeated offer was from "New York" but the web site was in Cyprus. - it had existed for a month and had been paid for for a year!!

    What does "bounce rate" mean?

That is the sort of thing I would say too!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
