And Aberdeen managed to be a good 11 degrees colder than London today.....

It's actually quite amazing how often that happens.

Pollution can account for a couple of degrees. Gulf stream position, how high the sun is in the sky, probably accounts for the remainder.

rewatching coldplay @ Glastonbury. And Beyonce on later tonight

I've been watching Glastonbury too, it's great. I really miss going to festivals.

Friends are there. They cheated and took a caravan. Apparently have running water and everything.

Why do legal types wear horsehair wigs, is it a failure to keep up with the times, to differentiate themselves from 'ordinary folk' or something else?

When the legal system should be approachable to all, the wig thing seems odd.

I think they should change it.

I wear one because I get in trouble if I don't. It's in the dress code.

It's boiling today, the first really hot day this summer. I'm wearing only a sarong, and still hot!

    Sounds lovely!

I'm leaving (on a jet plane, natch) for a couple of weeks in The Land of the Pom on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing the old place.

My BIL's at Glastonbury. He's nearly 50 and now self-building after carelessly losing his former home. My 20 year old niece declined to join him, however, as she's saving hard for a deposit.

I find that both admirable & sad. :):(

These things happen. Get him to turn out his pockets, just to be sure.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Indeed.

I just always find it amazing how just a few hundred miles can make such a big difference.

Far more so than many other places I've lived in the world.

I don't. Its funny how many clients don't recognise ''their'' barrister with out a wig on. Besides anything else, its a minor security measure, this considered.

But if it matters to you if you need representation get a solicitor advocate :)
