Is there a reason your pants should be defying man made enclosures?
Or is it just a test to see if anyone reads the signature.....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

What do Speech and Language Therapists do? And why can't we make chavs read out a Job Hunters' Charter in clear English as part of their signing on process each fortnight?
One of the many things they do is help children who have difficulties pronouncing certain sounds.
Isaac had some speech therapy, because he tended to say "d" when he should have said "s", and a "y" sound for "l". It means he now calls our nanny "Sam" rather than "Dam"....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
It's boiling today, the first really hot day this summer. I'm wearing only a sarong, and still hot!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

And Aberdeen managed to be a good 11 degrees colder than London today.....
It's actually quite amazing how often that happens.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

the temperature's lovely on a day like today, when one can lounge around wearing very litle. Somewhat less fun on work days, encased in suits, wool gown, horsehair wig, etc.......much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Why do legal types wear horsehair wigs, is it a failure to keep up with the times, to differentiate themselves from 'ordinary folk' or something else?
When the legal system should be approachable to all, the wig thing seems odd.
I think they should change it.0
