well, we just found a very interesting weed while weeding. No idea how it got here, but I did think the workmen who put the septic system in were very relaxed.0

That is great, apart from those modern art thingiesespecially without a title

She's now a qualified, but jobless Speech & Language Therapist with a degree from UCL. The main problem is that there are loads more SLTs qualifying each year than there are jobs for, so I suppose she'll have to consider doing something completely unrelated.
If its the course I'm thinking of, the NHS funds the tuition fees, so it is a very popular course. That's true, but it beggars belief that the NHS funds far more courses than it has need for the graduates. Or perhaps it doesn't beggar belief ....No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
My DD2 had a slight glue ear and some indistinct speech and she had a few sessions with a speech therapist which did help a lot - sounds like 's' and 'f' - we took great pleasure in practicing at home - one of our 'f' phrases we practised each dinner time lifting and lowering the cutlery '..fork on,...fork off...!'
Good news is now not only is her speech clear but he also had perfect hearing at her last check a few weeks ago and has been 'discharged'.PasturesNew wrote: »
