Bizarre weather.... the media said "hotter than yesterday", but today it's cool and grey/overcast, with a huge sea fog hanging over the town. Apparently it's sunny 2 miles up the road.

Then there was thunder I heard, then, 2 minutes later, some of the world's biggest raindrops showered down for 2 minutes. Now it's back to being grey/overcast with a fog.

Just grabbed an image from a local webcam.

    Which is really creepy/spooky!

Wish me luck, I've backed Kubot in the tennis for $60 at 1000-1. If that comes in I'll be having a very jolly holiday.
He/she (no idea) will probably win now ... some people are just born lucky - and I've a feeling you're one of them.

It's all a pile of pants. It was 25 degrees on the school run with bright blue skies at 8.30. It clouded over pretty quickly and now, no matter how much I'd like it to be gorgeous, it's just a rather non descript, dull grey Monday afternoon in summer. Thermometer on my window says 24. I think it's trying to kid itself too.

    Heatwave lasted about three minutes.

It still looks pretty where you are though.

I assume that was for the Championship rather than to win today - however you can lay it off on Betfair now (for the Championship) at 500 so locking in a nice profit (although there is no margin at BF you have to put up the whole value at risk so 30k dollars but I assume that is just petty cash in the Generali household?)

You can lay using backing funds and vice versa.

I'll hold out for the end of the match. I've got a potential win of £42,502 on there. I can't just close that out!
