No, the letter lists the debts, they are from 2009. so no excuses!
Is it fraud if your business fails - for the 3rd time - yet you still spend like money grows on trees? Or is it bad money management.
This time they are trading themselves as opposed to through a company (I guess they can't be directors any longer), so the debt is theirs. Hence why they are not revealing their address to suppliers.
The obvious crime is trading while insolvent. If you get a copy of the accounts from Companies House then any accountant should be able to tell whether that is the case, assuming their accounts are accurate and up-to-date. Trading while insolvent is effectively fraud.
There are also rules against taking money out of the company as a dividend (for example) when the company hasn't got the money to pay. That was why that Grant B paid money to Anthea T rather than to himself I would imagine.0 -
you know, following on from the colour thread, a really useful internet tool would be one that let you easily select paint colours from more than one company to see how they'd go. I'm sure there is something thats possible, like copying to paint, but tbh, not sure I could master that.
(I'm wondering whether a gold back wall would work in the hall. Having painted it ''cheap blue'' its better, but its determined I want it lighter brighter (I wante a bluish white really but this was cheaper!) so the long term colour will be cabbage white not borrowed light.
with the blue I was going to paint our wood work the beigey white we're using outside, but I don't know how I feel about that with the cabbage white. And I'm not doing the staircase twice if I can get away with doing it once!0 -
is it me or has it gone colder?
I'm off to London again today (I need a social life closer to home)0 -

I like bats too, but when I viewed one property with them in residence and saw the mess they made in the loft, I wondered whether people would have been so tolerant had they been mice. Outbuildings are another matter.
We don't have bats in residence, but we have swallows. They nest under the apex of the gable end and their detritus falls onto the utility room roof, which we cannot reach safely. This doesn't matter though, as the utility has worse issues, so it won't be there in the longer term.0 -
It is colder today. I got up this morning and put on my "uniform" for this time of the year of a pair of linen trousers and a short-sleeved top, then came downstairs and snuggled under my duck down and fleece throw to type this. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

As for tablecloths, we only use the table once a year for Xmas Day - and we've never owned a linen tablecloth.0 -

Get yourself some £3 leggings
I wear £3 leggings and £2 T shirts round the house so anything half decent/wearable doesn't get worn out. I only wear "proper clothes" when leaving the house.0
