That ''once'' paint is a liar. Apart for the dreadful garland of flowers over the top it only had to go over magnolia and is failing in ''one'' application. , think its being asked to go over kitchen or exterior paint....its kinda ''slick'' feeling anyway.

Still, feels good to something as frivolous as decoration. even quite poor decoration!
I used Once once... and it turned out fab. The secret is to use a roller and get it on thick - then roller it very slowly ... and it works.

Once on, it was very much like a plastic vinyl coating - when you found an edge and picked it, it sort of stretched. e.g. in areas like around uPVC windowframes where you get that plastic gap filler stuff... Once doesn't stick to that, which meant it had the potential to peel away and it was quite plastic/rubbery.

Can you do that to yourself, or does someone else have to help you?

You may need to use some mirrors if you want to cover any grey at the crown or the back, but otherwise it is easy to do by yourself.

I eat odd meals alone. steamed broccoli with oyster sauce, (no balancing protein or carb). Left over cabbage, or specially cooked cabbage for one. My most frequent ''proper'' solo meal is poached egg. whch I then fail to balance with veg often, or just have with spinach...for days and days.:o

Have I got news for you is on at 9pm?

I'm one of the few who enjoy painting, removing woodchip, that's a real PITA.

"Once" paints needs two coats. Other paints need three coats.

I find thick paints good for walls which aren't perfectly plastered.
