I expect my next whole house to be smaller than that.
I thought my new kitchen was going to be big....but not that big...not sure how big actually. I'll check the plans sometime later or tomorrow.0 -

Looks like they are staying up doesn't it? I'm just watching the end of the Man U Blackpool game. Nice to see the Man U fans clapping the Blackpool supporters. You've got to give them their due, they fought to the end. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? What's happening now please?
I have a meeting here tomorrow after lunch....I'm wondering if I'll get washing done in the morning or if it will be wet.
The rain, incidentally, hasn't touched the ground, because of the wind its a dust storm outside. This is a freaky, freaky year alright.
Bit worried about the window we started stripping paint and putty out of, because of the wind. We're disappointed with the ''finish'' on the windows, but the condition is worse than we'd thought...i.e. we new the sills and bottom edges/corners had gone, but not how far up that might extend. The answer is ''a long way''. While we new we wouldn't get a professional finish we did want something half way decent. Instead we've now shifted focus on getting paint on to seal for at least one more winter. Its rough job when you get as close as say, 10 metres away. There is a window we cannot reach that was going to be the first we had properly overhauled, now we're not sure, Its filthy and sealed shut...but it looks sound compared to the others...so maybe it should drop back in priority. I'm going to replace the one piece of cracked glass in the front door ''light'' myself, that should be easy enough...no different to a window pane, right? Hand blown glass or not? Previous repairs haven't been, so there is a mixture already. Heart says ''wobbly'' wallet says ''bog standard''.0 -
Is it? Drat. No one told me it was.

Kitchen size....existing room is 24 by 15.10. We're turning an adjecent hall into a walk in larder/pantry and a lean to in to a walk in utility. So Michael's kitchen is definetely bigger than mine. (But I'm ''outsourcing'' lots of services!). Michaels, your kitchen will be a super size, I bet it will be beautiful.0

One bonus for Blackpool, it looks like they have rested the English fair play entry from Fulham for the Europa Cup next year.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
