OK I did a google, they can but you will need to add credit to make calls apparently. Best call three to confirm though.
Oh. I wouldn't be making calls. But it might mean I'm more likely to get a 'posh phone' soon then.... as I don't have to sort out/do/understand contracts :)

I used to use an iPhone as a dongle. It worked very well.

I will be seeing you one day, I know it. :)

Perhaps we can drop by one day when we're up in Outlaw territory? Compare hen notes. If it's any consolation, the white perennial stock I'd put by for you, popped its clogs in the freeze!:o Growing more.

I have just been dragged off my sick bed to vote. As I told one of the two candidates last week, it's a foregone conclusion, so I felt it was a waste of time. As for the other thing, my vote was more a reaction to the way one side conducted their campaign.

AS DW takes ages, I had a chance to read the voting instructions on the wall. The last one was something like: "Show the back of your ballot paper to the officer and then place it in the box." Very odd. I'd never done that before.

Well, I tried to show the back of my papers to the two folks on duty, but do you think they'd look my way? Not a chance! They were deep in conversation, probably about some village scandal. In the end I just popped them in, but I felt slightly cheated.:(

I have a SIM in my dongle from three.... would that also fit in a phone? Could I use the one SIM in my phone and in my dongle?

YES! I have a three dongle with a paltry limit and a three phone with 'unlimited' access. Worked it out when I spent £20 on top of the dongle allowance.

DISCLAIMER: I haven't read the thread properly, only that post and I've had half a glass of wine, so it's Game Over for my brain today.

I 'sold' the wrong house today for asking price to the first viewers. Sod's Law in action. We will be shifting out of Casa Doozer then. :( I suspect they will be painting over my expensive wallpaper and they're having my nice curtains; I hope it completes before the Dunelm summer sale! I salvaged the chandelier and the Jeeves light fitting, but can hardly complain can I for the price.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It doesn't compensate, although of course I wanted stuff for the garden I really wanted to meet you most. :) Dn't kill my next one though, huh? ;)

You are ALWAYS welcome, but....don't plan a short visit...I'll want your advice on......everything.

It looks a mess today....the weeds grow and grow but its so dry the grass hasn't been cut for a while and its not respectable but not horrific...which is telling. well, its going to look less respectable tomorrow, brds have been at the currants and I don't have any discrete netting so I've got to put out a bright piece of cheese cloth!

I have to keep sitting down and getting my legs up today :(

I've done something to my hip, can't move my right leg forward or upwards without horrendous pain...god knows what I have done but it bloody hurts!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Ah, but we know about all that, so you could show DW and me, and we'd say, "Yup, just like our place!" :rotfl:

A relative is popping-in to see us tomorrow, breaking the journey back from Cornwall, but also having a good nosy around. They won't 'get' this place at all. I've just looked theirs up on Streetview....... Barratt development, all open plan front gardens and brick paviours!

Sometimes I think we're bonkers too.:( This fell into my Rightmove box today. Looks the part. It's even in a 'proper' village:

Hehe, the don't do anything approach was the one I was taking!

It's fine...as long as I don't move it around too much.
