I realised a short time ago that I don't read as much fiction as I ought. I recently read Coma by Alex Garland, The Dead Zone by Stephen King, and About a Boy and also Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby.
the only Nick Hornby book I've read is "High Fidelity", which I rather enjoyed. Qutie a long time since I read it, though.
I'd recommned, "A Plague on Both Your Houses" by Susanna Gregory, or the Sharlake series by C J Sansom - the first is "Dissolution"....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Er, on the seed question, they vary. All kinds of things can slow them down, from cold soil, cold water, or just being deeper in the soil. Often, people germinate a few on some damp kitchen roll to check the seed is viable... ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To2DlJwErao ) ... although I would only use a few.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I don't agree with what he did, I don't like what he represents but what I really hate right now is the fact that people are celebrating that someone has been killed
