What do you think of the horsemanship lir?

Oh, I went out. :o As a general rule I try not to look to closely. ;) edit: the carriage horses generally have nice toplines etc. (plus I have another friend who'd kill me if I didn't say that...I taught them my backing method which that friend now uses, but I know zilch about driving.). That friend is going to train the next horse I buy to harness.

Lipreader on Sky news reporting some of the things said on the procession up the aisle:

Harry: right, here she is now
William: you look lovely, beautiful (lir that's what you said I think so I sit corrected!).
William to Kate: supposed to be a small family affair

    With apologies to Cleaver

The journey to the bathroom started just before 11. I was wearing a blue pyjama trouser (in cotton) by British Home Stores and I grey t-shirt, possibly by Fruit of the loom.

Having prepared the chamber by removing the child seat and checking for splashes I then sat on the thrown (the one by Argus, c 2008). It was a very private ceremony and indeed I was the only one present at this stage.

At the end of the ceremony I made use of a long train, amply folded, white velvet quilted number by Andrex.

The ring: fine thank you, the decision to eat chow mein last night rather than jalfrezzi was borne out.

After the ceremony I changed in to my Birthday Suit (all mine this one) and had a shower.
    I think....

There's something just wrong about minibuses. I hope nobody left chewing gum stuck to the seats like they do round here. Would cause havoc with their lovely wedding finery.

One of the most expensive weddings in the world and there was a whole convoy of minibuses. :rotfl:

lir, apparently one of the horses in the procession unseated its rider. The rider was given a ticking off.

They are now debating whether VB's dress is black or navy. They have said that although it looks black it is officially royal navy.

Even stretched limos would have been better and they can be a bit vulgar. Looks like a good chance to break for a shower before the balcony kiss. See you in 20 mins.

    .

You know, I bet it cheered things up for many watchers. I guess how appropriate a ticking off is depends on circumstances/how they were unseated. Not great, but it does happen to all of us at some point.:o

If I'd organised such an event, minibuses would have ensured a procession was kept up to speed (rather than a coach which'd take longer to load). Also, maybe only minibuses fit through some of the arches. But, I'd have had them "wrapped" so they didn't look like minibuses, a procedure that's quite quick and fairly cheap.
