:rotfl:
Hope you had a good time!
I took wife and westie to the beach (East Wittering) on Easter Monday. It was just perfect...just need to teach doggy not to dig holes in the sand with his bum facing us and the beach towels.
It was very enjoyable Wheezy! Looks like at least one of your group enjoyed themselves too!:D Hope your day was as pleasant & relaxing as mine.
I'm not sure whether to be pleased or not about the rain forecast. I know we need it (as a vegetable grower and as a bowler I know we need it) but can't it rain whilst I am at work please? Also, I was thinking about going for a game of golf.
My beans, peas & lettuce & toms are going well now. Not long before re-potting time arrives. I have planted a 2nd batch of toms. I am debating planting extra peas (I'm not sure I have room for more to be honest).
I think that I can see one or two things sprouting out of the ground where I planted onions, beetroot & carrots. It is possibly a little early to be thinking that as I only planted them a week or so ago, but I am hopeful! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
congrats LJ . No sign of the parsley, radishes, second lettuce sowing or beetroots here yet. Bit cross really.....how dare they not germinate! I love things sprouting and normally find that bit really easy...well, my seeds do what they are meant to and I keep out of the way. but this year they are not paying ball. The soft fruit seems happy though and the apples I pruned, which I was worried about, but they have responded well with the blossom and little teeny fruits are set there now:) (shame I'm not more keen on our apples though! They made good juice though....)0

LJ your post about Barmouth has made me hanker after Wales again, but not that bit, as its interior a little too wild and woolly......About 25 miles south of Aber would do me nicely. Still this backwater of Deb'n is pretty similar in most respects.....;)
As punishment, I shall tell you that my fast track toms are already in 2 litre pots and flowering like mad.:D

My apple trees only started to blossom up last week.
Probably more to do with my pruning abilities than the weather 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

Er, git!;)
Must admit the drive through Wales to Barmouth was very pleasant, except for the slow drivers...
My toms are only 1.5 inches high...:oMy apple trees only started to blossom up last week.

When young, a neighbour had 4 apple trees. Summers were spent simply sat in those trees, munching.:) I always wanted a fruit tree or 2, but current garden is way too small and what with house prices being what they are and blah blah blah blah....;)
Forgot to say, I have also planted all my flowers for pots, borders & hanging baskets.:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

apples are easy to find as windfalls though.
I'm excited because our mulberry is leafing up. He was a sick boy ''rescued'' from a spot he hated in my parents garden, where he has sat sulking for a few years, hardly growing. Here he seems as happy as larry.. Now if the peach can oblige and the caci I'll be very pleased.

I was about to say that I too have bought clothes from Sainsburys but somehow even I can't imagine that FC would be getting excited about 'TU'...
There is some stuff here on the Wildfire but it appears not that many posts so there may be other sites that have more on this handset:

Thank you.
The trouble is, I read the words and I still don't know what it's on about. Please could you explain, in terms fit for a total novice, what it means to root a phone?
Cheers.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Last time mine went wrong, I threw it at the wall.
Fixed :j (the back keeps falling off now, nothing a strip of sellotape won't solve:eek:)'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Ok - I'll come clean here - I don't really know what it means but I followed the instructions for my phone for 'rooting' and then 'flashing' and it means the phone runs much faster, no longer has stuff from orange on it that gets in the way and can not be got rid off, has a newer operating system (think Windows 7 rather than Windows XP) and can thus run more applications including one called 'apps2sd' which lets you store the applications you have installed on the memory card rather than the phone memory thus allowing you to install many more without running out of space and also meaning the phone memory does not slow down with too much stuff.
I am guessing that 'rooting' means getting access to the base directory in the file structure (like accessing C:/ rather than just 'my documents') and that this is needed to allow you to do all the other things that are normally blocked from the user.Thank you.
