Go far it - any chance of not using a size '0' as well?

We don't do size zero but they were both tall and an 8 and 10 but one had lovely biggish boobs (as I do like a pair in my work as it fills out the shape) but shortish body so we will stretch the final images to give her some length. The long lanky flat chested look isn't one for us at the mo.
The other had a happy smiley face and very long legs.

We have a mole....or probably more than one.

Thinking I was a clever bunny, I put about 8 or 9 barrowloads of well-rotted pig manure into the trench for our new 'hide the neighbours' hedge. Then we planted 110 beech saplings. "Arr, they beggers will grow now!" I said in my best Devon accent. We'd dipped the roots of every one in some new-fangled fungus solution that stimulates root growth. Symbiotic. ;)

Of course I'd blown it. I didn't think that in the manure were hundreds of bloomin' worms, all putting out some kind of mole-attracting vibes. :(

It was a matter of days before the new hedge had a four lane mole motorway down it. As I watered, great sections of soil collapsed and gallons just disappeared. It was like a miniature rift valley.

I was straight off to the country store and back again with the least humane mole trap I could find. :o

Needless to say, two or three weeks later, the mole trap is still empty, the moles seem to have vanished and I expect the worms are now molecules of mole. Green leaves are sprouting from the sticks we planted though, and already the trampoline next door looks a little less threatening. :)

:rotfl::rotfl:Thanks for the tale DS....made my day end with a big chuckle (and what a stressy day it was here in Fashion Land)
I got a job with a College down here a few years back. I had to come up with a course idea, then write the course. They'd shove it in their booklet. On the date/s I'd have to go to them and collect a whole network of laptops, then drive onto some small village hall and set it all up. Then I'd wait. If nobody came after an hour I'd have to pack up all the kit and take it home, returning it to the College the next day. Total pay/expenses for that: £7. To get to that stage will have been 3-5 hours writing/planning the course, an hour driving/collecting the kit, an hour waiting, an hour to dismantle the kit and get home and an hour the next day to take the kit back.

Not to mention the fact that having the booking in my diary limited my ability to take on other work that day.

Stopped doing it. It was a mug's game.

Sounds like my job as you never know which bit of work or time spent is going to bring home the bacon. I can spend hours/days/nights on something that all ends up in the bin after 2 weeks .....then a smaller amount of time on something ''Voila!'' that rakes it in.
OH always takes the mick and says...just spend the time on developing 'winner' and don't bother with the rest...but often, developing the rest ends up turning into 'winner' so you never know.

I am desp desp desp to share something else too........OH called me mid shoot as he had an e-mail from the holy grail of shops for an appointment (and it is impossible to canvass for one...it's so uber holy grail, one has to wait for a call).

It's the one beginning with S.

It's all a bit...OMG the ''S''. store. I won't do the appt (OH will do it as he is calm and cool) as I would walk into the office and fall forwards onto my face with arms outstretched flat upon the altar that is 'S' shop.

...on the other hand...they could come down to us to Derelict -Land, step over the rat traps and, now the lift is playing up, walk up the 4 flights of stairs past the yellow stickers on the walls that say ''Asbestos Hazard''.

Nice one on the film Sue...sounds great......any chance he could put it on YT so we can enjoy?

Sorry to be entirely random but I'm procrastinating STILL. I can make major life decisions and ones that involve lots of money quite quickly but present me with the Tesco website and I fall apart!

    Party on Friday.
    Do I provide:
    a) a barbeque (worried about weather and poisoning)
    b) typical children's party fare
    c) Very English things like smoked salmon, cucumber sandwiches and scones. I've been given 50metres of bunting and little Union flags for sandwiches etc but I'm a bit stumped for any more food ideas... and concerned about the price of clotted cream!

I've got Pimms and I've ordered multiple bottles of Fizz, so that's me sorted :o
Clotted cream's not that expensive. You can order it online from http://www.roddas.co.uk/shop - check out the catering pack at £5 + delivery (next day/courier), or the individual small packs in a box of 48 - lots of sizes on that link.

I'd go with the English stuff. They say it'll bucket down on Friday, so best not to organise a barBQ and get caught short... better to plan an English tea that can easily be eaten inside or out.

You have to make one of those Refrigerator cakes that the Royals are having. [a] because if you don't somebody will mention it it's bl00dy easy. There's even a thread on it in Old Style, with the proper recipe and some variations.

I heard rain is forecast for Friday ...I would go English trad and add some cooked chicken/sausages from the oven for a hint of barbecue.

I wouldn't have minded too much if I were self-employed and trying to build a business, but it was an employed role. Tutors are only paid for the hours in the classroom, not the hours writing courses or assembling kit at remote locations. I was told recently that nobody will work for that College now as they have an appalling reputation for getting through tutors. Not surprised when the maximum you can earn a day is £7 and you've shelled out £5 in your own petrol chasing round the country :)

But let's face it .... they wouldn't have called fc if they found her range mediocre or 'will fill that small dark corner'. She was called because .... SHE'S FERKIN BRILLIANT!!!!!!

Don't !!!...I keep saying the word in my head...you know, the fridge bit and rolling the rrr's.
Then I tell myself off for counting chickens (as they often get diseases and die just as you get to the final count).

I worked out why I relate to this board this weekend......
Unfortunately, we worked the whole dam thing through (as I had today to prep for and needed a whole new range which was only in my head by end last Thursday)...anyways..... there was filiming on our estate for an Arageddon type movie.

It is totally derelict and smashed up all around us with very few people during normal hours (more security that tenants) so has the feel of an abandoned city after an alien type of attack that makes everyone disapear.
I must update the FB as we have done loads more work inside it and it's like an oasis of calm, inspiration and industriousness all at the same time whilst outside is neglected, abandoned and forgotton.

I realised I look forward to the doom/gloom threads to while away a few minutes late at night...and in my head it's all joy and flowers and happiness and positivity. The neg stuff kind of enhances the feeling.

It's outrageous really..I am surprised they get anyone to work like that.

I will nag you again next year (as this year is going to be a heavy one) as you are self-employed in spirit, it's just linking all the skills together and getting it to a paying customer of sorts.

Really appreciated that link! The delivery is prohibitive (it's cheaper to buy two lots of the 2x227g) but I love the little pots and I've got my heart set on it now. I'm going to ask the in-laws to dust off the cash & carry card and get clotted cream and those little pots of jam (I know they have them because they used to run a B&B and buy them - they'll do clotted cream, surely?) I need to rescue my Kenwood and work out how to make scones!

The cake idea is great too, no baking, will get on with getting that ordered.

I think I'm going to cheat and buy egg mayo sandwich filler though!

.....before I collapse in bed I have to say the thread devoted to Cleaver just made me laugh so much......so the stress must be kicking in right now as why do I find it so so funny?

I also must not go to sleep whilst saying *sigh* the S word over and over.....must be sensible and calm.
    Night all.
