I'm not sure the theoretical/moral case can be made for fptp, av or pr.
My worry with AV is it might lead to non-stop 'progressive' Lab / LD coalitions, even where the electorate were to vote strongly against the incumbents they would maintain enough seats to stay in power. I'm not saying a Tory govt is a good thing but it definitely seems to be the case that govts become stale (and 'corrupt') and that being able to vote them out and for them to know they can be voted out is a good thing.I think....0 -
*sighs* Resco DTD. So near but yet so far.....it's just way too time consuming for me and I really tried to fit it in. I really wanna do more too...and to plan it properly too as we got really confused as some things were not in stock so the pre-planned shopping list (with dtd max all worked out on it) went all awry.
So far we have £52 odd over 3 coupons from 2 trips and a lot of Chasse Du Pape CDR in the garage. I have failed dismally on L'Oreal look 20 years younger moisturiser as I couldn't find the exact one and we had to keep getting out the spreadsheet to check (which then made us feel all furtive and mini-criminal).
Tesco also won with us as we then bought all sorts of other stuff that we would normally have bought elsewhere....so less anti-corp and more 'being sucked into the corp jaw'....willingly and knowingly......bringing me neatly onto...how the f do people work in big corps cos it is doing my head in now.
We will stick with it but the games, the people politics (from rival corp to t'other rival corp) is insane.
I did chat to someone recently about it and I thought my old indie trading life was normal......but I realise now it was exceptional. Guessing it's the price one has to pay for the ££££Sad but true.

That thread grows faster than I can read it at times so I just dip in and out to see if there is anything new - someone has discovered how to link the barcode reader app up to the asda groceries api so you can scan a barcode on your phone in Tesco and it tells you the price in Asda. Also some reports of success with DVDs.Fights broken out on the Tesco DTD thread.:rotfl:
Have to quote this snippet:
" remember only to buy one for £10.50 as they're on offer 2 for £10 and dtd won't work then! Try to go to a 'less intelligent looking' SA, better ones try to tell you about the Finish offer and it's difficult saying you're happy to pay more for one when two would be cheaper!"
:rotfl::rotfl:
Someone reported car booting the dishwasher stuff as they had run out of storage!I think....0 -

ooooo!!! Fight fight fight.
I have dropped into that thread a bit and thye do refer to the 'trouts' who work in Tesco...which I thought was a bit mean.
I shopped in our local one twice and the staff were really un-trout-like (that read wrong....non troutlike, non trouty... whatever) they were quite nice on the whole and not to 'reading from todays script' like in Asda. Perhaps the Tesco daily script is more subtle and varied though....and I fell for it.
Worse script at the moment is New Look ....queue for ages and then bright young thing asks ''Did you find evrything you were looking for today?'' . I really wanted to say no to see what would happen but couldn't face it...I was only buying accessories for tomo's photo shoot.
I'll post pics up later in the week on FB but we have a mole issue to deal withI always state our stance on tattoos (like none) but havenever said no moles as didn't give it a thought. Could cost me a bomb in photoshopping time.

This London girl is truly 'countrified' now as I was wondering how you could have moles of the larger, living, burrowing brown furry variety in London. Couldn't quite see the link to tattoos for a moment :doh:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You can get the rough price from WhatCar here:
http://www.whatcar.com/valuations?makeId=1&modelVersionId=2030
Well, that says £7,875 for the correct model, date and mileage, so I feel reasonably happy about paying £7,250 and getting the warranty thrown in.Thanks silvercar, you've set my mind at rest.
I thought the mole was selling trade secrets or something too.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Moles as in big brown freckles.....and I hate to be body fascist..I like imperfection myself and have never given it a though (tattoos are a whole different ball-game though) before but I was stuck in a factory in Rochester and couldn't get back for the fitting so DD did it instead.
She's gorgeous/sporty/fresh type pretty and tanned.....but lots of moles.
I may break the mould and have them on full view (not covered with make up) as I am feeling very rebellious right now and have no outlet for the feeling.....so bring on the skin ''imperfections'' (which we all have).0 -
Moles are fine. The worst thing right now is the gappy front teeth. I have wonky teeth so no idea why I find it so offputting..0

Go far it - any chance of not using a size '0' as well?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
