Good Morning,
So many of you have kindly asked after my Daughter's health over the past year and how she is doing, as well as supporting the charity PORT.
She has currently been at home for just over 3 months. Shes not great, but its better than be in the hospital!
We have also had many people asking if they can donate directly to Daisy, but we have always directed people to PORT.
However , with no cure for her condition probable in Daisy's lifetime, with the help of several good friends we have decided to set up a Trust especially for Daisy, in order to try and make her life just that little bit more comfortable. There are many things she needs.
We now have a website, which went live just yesterday.
It has many features, including the reasons for setting the Trust up, future fundraising events a gallery, a Donation page and lots of other stuff!
Please take a good look around it, and let me know what you think.
Kind regards

Mother in law has gone home now, a renewed woman I am pleased to say. I'm not sure how long that will last if she does not look after herself, but she's currently compos mentis and it's up to her whether she chooses to look after herself. We'll keep having her back here for a couple of days a month, and hopefully her son will have her for a few days/month as well. That will give her a bit more structure to her days, but keeping her entertained is a bit of a job.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I'm happy to have helped out a little, I wish I could do more. Daisy's bravery is a lesson to all of us.inspector_monkfish wrote: »Good Morning,

PN, my ISP went down which always looks impressive to our customer when this year's annual survey has only just launched. What was the name of the status checker site you recommended again?
I am thinking we also possibly need a back up hosting plan - how quick is it too get pointers changed to a backup up host? Of course we would also need some way of getting the DB across so it may not be that practical.PasturesNew wrote: »Just checked yesterday -v- one week before -v- same Tuesday last year ... hardly representative, but it's a snapshot:
Income down 4% compared last week; up 5% compared to last year

Clicks down 10% compared to last week; up 60% compared to last year
CTR up by 0.03% compared to last week; down 10% compared to last year
CPC up by 1p compared to last week; down 15% compared to last year
RPM up 8% compared to last week; down 30% compared to last year
And that's why I don't check the stats really ... so many ways/things to compare and it can suck up your day.I think....0 -
Hello Inspector,
I had a good look on Daisy's site and although I knew about Daisy's condition from previous posts, it was touching and humbling to read her - and your family's - story again.
And looking at the gallery, one can only notice one thing; Daisy is always smiling (even when meeting JLS) despite her illness and pain, giving us all a valuable lesson about....LIFE.
I wish Daisy, you and the Palmer family all the best
About the site, all looks good.
Will you only accept paypal donations or are there plans to allow card payments as well?0 -
Randomlly back to bathrooms - this bath seems to be P shaped and to have the taps in the middle

Changing pointers has to be about 2 hours minimum usually. How often does your DB change? You could get a routine written by a programmer to take a backup and copy that to your 2ndary server on a regular basis.0 -
