Dunno. I guess she'd had enough. I hope she's ok though.

    I thought you might know.
Have you seen this, it is not April 1 already is it?
Bosses at a Surrey theme park have relocated one of its new rides after workers reported ghostly goings-on at the site
    .

    I particularly like this.
The old footpath has linked the ruins of nearby Chertsey Abbey to Thorpe Church since the year 666 AD.
They should have moved the ghost train there:)

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

The fact Generali caught her and she didn't deny it sort of gave it away.

I didn't spot it. Either she's changed her writing style or she hangs out in different places.

But she was one of the ones whose login was hacked a while ago, wasn't she? That was when she gave up using the carolt name, which seems a perfectly legit reason to me. I'm glad to hear it if she's still OK and still here with another name, but I'd love to know what her new name is. Carol, if you're reading this, I'd love a pm and I promise not to tell.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Well, whatever her reason was, it doesn't seem to have been to cause trouble, because she hasn't. While I have seen her about the forum a little bit, in the main she has probably been on other boards on MSE because I haven't seen her on here that often.
