Son-with-earring phones to say he's got onto some uni scheme where they take you to China for a month and immerse you in the culture and language. He's really excited about it and it was really competitive to get on the scheme especially as he's not studying languages. I'm pleased for him but that means he won't be home for Easter hols
Also slightly concerned he should be studying for finals at that time, but he claims he's got it under control.

If you ironed the sheets while they were on the bed it would also warm the bed!

I'd proper calmed down by the end though
Lecturer's a good sort too.
I did all sorts of new and exciting things, like filing and sawing and using blowtorches and some strange concoction that was being warmed in a crockpot. All exciting and potentially dangerous stuff - and I've counted my fingers and they're still all there
Regardless of whether you're there full time, or a short evening course, the same duty of care exists PN.
Might be worth checking out, perhaps with the support of the tutor if it helps?
That said, if you're comfortable & happy, carry on!It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I iron fitted sheets on the bed. They are dreadful to iron otherwise.....but its cold by the time the rest of the bedding is on.:D
edit: I actually really dislike fitted sheets. I don't think I'll ever buy anymore. They hop of the corners whereas a good old hospital corner hangs on till you strip the bed again.0 -

Now you are just showing off - my fitted sheets never pop off at the corners - not since we had kids anyway...I think....0 -
And here was me thinking you were so posh and now if I passed you in Waitrose with your son I'd be thinking 'chavs'...A photo arrives on my phone.
Of an ear
with an earring...
a minute or two later I realise that the ear belongs to eldest son,
as does the earring.not impressed

You shop in Waitrose and then call me posh.
