Actually, I totally agree with the craving thing. Calcium is a growing thing and her body must crave to grow. She is so fu cki ng thin.
I just cant feed her !!!! to do it. What becomes of her body then?
The dip thing is a brilliant idea. They are really good girls, not hard work at all. They want to please.
That makes it even harder
The brat was home at the weekend with a huuuuuuuuuge Christmas list and a big stick to beat the girls out of her room
"Back, brats. Maaaaaaaaaaam, tell them to leave me alone"Retail is the only therapy that works0 -

ROFL.
I bet the brat is brilliant too. No, don't feed carp, then they know you will. They want to please so show delight on their trying new things, and meet them half way with making the things they thing of as carp healthily and work fro there.
If the brat eats well with you then they might also be encouraged to be more ...adventurous. Little precious things.0 -

DH makes fab cheese on toast. It never burns at the edges and he serves it well splashed with balsamic vinegar . (I'm drooling now.)0 -
My mum's past the age when using a grill is safe. At least with the microwave she's less likely to drop it and less likely to set fire to it, can't really forget she's cooking either.0

I feel really guilty, as if I was willing their mother to fail. I wasn't, I just knew she would.
It will be years before she gets herself together, if she ever does. My girls dont have the luxury of those years.
Their mother is...... think Cher from the XFactor. Cheap, cheerful and dangerous to small children
I dont feel good about any of this and yet I would have happily have murdered a year ago.
Now the girls are here, I just feel really sorry for her.
She does love them LIR. She is just incapable of looking after them
She is what she was raised to be
I will always feel I stole her children
No need to feel guilty. The children take priority, they're the innocents, and they need somone (i.e. you) to step in to prevent the cycle of poor upbringing repeating itself.
Can you take care of the mother and children ws, or is the mother too far gone, and/or unwilling, to be helped?0 -
If WS isn't responding, I'm guessing she's whipping up a fondue or some houmous and taramasalata for tomorrow
edit: what do your replace the wine and kirsch with in fondue for kids?0 -

Cheese on toast, yum - what type of cheese do you use?0 -

DH uses (I don'tmake cheese on toastI know, weird., its DH's thing, ) whatever we have.
If its planned as a supper I normally have Edam(for the boringly obvious reason). DH is going through a Compte phase I notice, but having such a strong Somerset influence in our lives PROPER cheddar is popular.
edit:
He's on the phone now and I asked him and he says tonight he'd have an Emmentale of any sort. He's in an emmentale mood.0
