    dave/lir/tomterm and others,

Wondering if it's worth spending the money for the sarpo t&m potatoes. we get blight., have eelworms, slugs and scab. So I want an invincible potatoes and they seem to the daddy. they are £9.98 for 3x20 tubers with £5 p&p so I'm tempted to try that.

Think I just need to be told to spend the money. :)

In bed - but that doesn't mean off the laptop :(

    Thanks for your building thoughts.

Neighbour who will be overshadowed is now going on about won't let us build up to the boundary but Google of party wall act suggests he can't stop us. To be a good neighbour I am offering to bring down the height of the bit on the boundary even though we have PP but he seems to be getting in to a state about it which is a shame (he is a lovely widower of 87). If the height is reduced to me that part will be no more imposing than the current garage (about 6'6" to the eves at the boundary).

Did it even make sense? DS was playing up something rotten, we were attempting homework, classes, H was on phone in a different room and then wandering in and talking randomly at me and I had a headache as well (unsurprisingly!) Didn't even read it back! I should have left it until later, sorry.

Me too, in bed with laptop!

Once again thanks to all for the good wishes. LIR posted a few posts ago that once again she's glad she knows the nice people. I'm always glad I know the nice people...:)

Aside from everything else, I've posted the following on the techie board. But I know how helpful & resourceful everyone here is, so thought I'd try my luck ;):
bought a friend a digital photo frame for christmas. Unfortunately they left the plug in & it hs shorted/fused/broken. It is a moulded plug, so needs a new adapter buying. Trouble is, I am struggling to find where to get one.
    The adapter/charger is a CP0510.
The back of the plug has the following written on it:
    Alba 7" digital photo frame
    model no DPF070AW
    Only use charger CP0510
    Argos mk9 2NW1018
    power supply 5v-1a
I'm not techy at all. If anyone can give advice/guidance/a link to where one can be bought, I'd be most grateful.

PS misskool needs encouraging to spend money?:rotfl:
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Middle son off school with a flu type thing...not sure if it is the flu or just a heavy cold but for him to fall asleep after getting home from school and feeling cold, means he is very unwell, he never feels cold (he would wear shorts in the snow if he could get away with it).

Now going to be on tenterhooks with youngest, if he gets this, then god only knows what will happen (he has had the flu/swine flu jab). He is only just getting back to normal after a mild cold at Christmas!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Hot and sunny here today. Feels like summer, even slept with window open as it got too hot in the night. Local weatherman's live weather site says it's 8C, but there's no wind so it feels much hotter. I do hate the wind.
