Ok this is my kitchen. The picture was from the EA advert when we bought, so the bits and bobs aren't mine..
That photo was taken from the one end of the T shape that you can see in the pic below. (We've turned that bit into a cosy area with sofas and TV and moved the dining room to the room next door.)
Although it looks OK the problem is that the fridge is at one end and the cooker is then round the corner. So the triangle (sink - fridge - cooker) is elongated and there is a wall that juts out to the side of the cooker.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Does that mean my personality on here suits the kitchen designed by the previous owner?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yep.
It was a 2 1/2 bed semi and extremely dated as you can see. Original owner from the 30's.
Now 4 double beds. 2 ensuite baths and family bath.
Still loving it, 5 years on, and esp now its mortgage free!
The greenhouse was demolished I'm afraid. It was v old and couldnt be moved. I have replaced it with a better one. (Further behind camera in later pic)0 -

I find London tap water tastes odd, even though I've lived here for 25 years! The fridge water tastes cold and fresh. Ours is mains fed with a filter. I know you can get water dispensers that aren't mains fed, maybe they taste different?
