An old ''upper middle class'' school gate quip: you can tell the new money...the uniforms aren't darned, the girls have french plaits and the mothers have makeup on in the morning.

LIR, I am a fu cking !!!!!, no point in pretending to be old money here dollface.

Strangely enough, I petrify the mummys and they are not worried about being beaten up:A

I look them up and down and shake my head and honestly the mummys are as good as gold. All throwing themselves at me at the school gates. Local author dont ya know..........

Oh that's her, isn't she a gypsy? Someone said she was frighteningly clever. Doesn't she write or something......

I want my girls to have everything and I want them to have it now.

Not next week or next year. Now.

They have been objects of pity all their lives.

I knoow it is pathetic but it matters to me. I want little girls to go home crying about my girls and their stuff

    I am really shallow

Its up to you how you bring the girls up. :)

My point about old money was more....some people (regardless of why) don't feel insecure about it. Now thats a gift to give.

What do you think made you...you? Give them some of that.

Maybe my unique selling point is: My stock isn't stored between the nappy bucket and the puppy's basket, in the kitchen, behind this week's washing.

    :)

Everything I do is "terribly nice". All carefully, thought out. No cutting corners, no slapdash. I will actually care deeply about the quality of everything I do.

PN....in your jewellery know how have you come across what to do with a big chunky fake bit of metal that smells of decomposing rat? Its so beautiful but stinks. I had to take it off the other day, and I'm still blocked up. Makes me realise I must have stunk when I wore it to local drinks before christmas. ROFL.

You need more than that. You need to stand out and specialise in something, otherwise you're just one in thousands, like bridal jewellery (probably like stealing candy from a baby, it's your special day, you can splash out on this etc), bespoke dinner party (show Lady wotshername that you've got taste and class), or yummy mummy trendy (yah, it was from this recycled, fair trade, employing young pregnant teenage girls giving them a chance in life, cute little place, I just stumbled on).

Or else you're just one of the thousands on ebay, etsy, folksy.

Well I am not taking them out on a horse and cart to sell makeral

I don't feel insecure. I know exactly who and what I am.

What I am isn't wonderful but hey it raised the brat and she is pretty special.

I want better LIR. I wanted better for the brat and I want so much better for my girls.

We are the lowest of the low. I know that. God knows I have no illusions.

My girls are tinkers born and bred and the worst kind of tinkers. A slapper for a mother and dragged through the care system.

    Well they call it care

The brat is at the best uni in the country now. She is a nice girl.

She doesnt define herself by anything other than me

I want the same for my girls

    Never to feel less

Stuff helps LIR. Lets be honest. When you are a child, she who has the most stuff wins.

I want my girls to win

    No.

    My first thoughts were:
1] Maybe sealing/spraying it with some acrylic varnish stuff might stop it in its tracks
2] I wonder if a mix of bicarb of soda and vinegar would completely destroy it, or rid it of smells.
3] Have you tried spraying it with Febreze?

wo doesn't want that, The ''nice'' is as important as the ''best uni'' imo.

Having everything includes having the full range of emotion. This one is common to all at some time, and is a driver for success, when harnessed. If you can't fund the material more of this want when you're used to it,i.e. spoilt, my guess is that it can take you to a place hard to recover from...emotionally and financially.

    Well, there are two ways:
    - get more stuff to give your girls
    - make sure the others lose their stuff

    Simples.
