There are bits of your eye that actually don't have many nerves, I think it is possible to have some small fragments in without knowing. Anyway, I would want it checked out.
Agreed. Plus he may need antibiotic drops if foreign matter have been in his eye to prevent them having left an infection behind, even if they have now left.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I think it is actually doggies aren't very lemonjelly. They can smell the fear (bitten as a child). It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Just to add that I had a cut in my eye and I didn't realise it so I'd want to get someone to look at it. Get him checked out!!0

Ah, but I know you'd be a responsible owner, so I'd feel safe.:)
More psychological now LIR. Wierdly, I'd like to like dogs. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Hmm.
I think I could try and help with that. Teach you dog body language. You should come for an afternoon with the dogs here. Or even to Discover dogs next year.
all the dogs on the stands of all breeds are LOVELY people. I'm convinced I want two dozen breeds that I've never thought of before every time I look round Discover dogs.
edit: ironically I'm thinking around the possibility that one of the problems today with dogs is OVER repsonsible owners as much as the very, very bad ones. It a weird paradox if iit turns out to be ''my''truth..0 -
You don't need to go to a chippy to get chips and gravy...just makes your own! Or buy the chips from the chippy and supply your own gravy (nice thick beef gravy is my preference)
Youngest went up for a asthma check up today after the palaver of his dropping peak flows last week. The asthma nurse was impressed with his charts (he is obsessive about his charts) but concerned that a slight cold had the impact it did.
After his last admission, the hospital did ask the surgery to see him twice yearly instead of once a year because he is so brittle and goes down so quickly, that a good check needs to be kept on him and we have kept to that but he just can't fight these colds like normal children.
So, he is to stay on his extra inhaler which we add in at the start of a cold and for a week after, until we go up again in two weeks time, when she will have another look at his charts (ooohhh, he will be pleased, a chance to show them off again!) and decide if any further treatment needs to be added in.
Wonder what other colours there are....getting bored of purple, blue and orange, maybe a nice green or fushia :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
The worst thing dog owners do is they always start with the phrase "It's all right, he won't hurt you..."
How in blazes do you know?

I say:no,please don't pet her.
I don't necessarily want my dogs thinking everybody is great. I certainly don;t want them to think everyone in the world has a biscuit for them: both for security but vitally for their manners....I don't want them helped to think its ok to approach people like you who don't want them.0
