It's really hard catching up here....you miss a few days and *whoosh* so much news I can't catch up...I did log in the other night but only got to read a few pages and no time to respond :(

....but I can confirm that Viva is very lush and PN is delicate and very attractive. PN is one of those women who, if they went on one of those makeover shows, would make people go 'wow!'. Great figure too despite all the late night pies ;-0
No, they're quite immobile these days - and exceedingly cantankerous. One's aspie but doesn't know it, the other one's fed up :)

Nothing yet, but it has been Xmas/New Year and so not been in touch with anybody or made plans. Just done a lot of googling.

I think mine are just sitting, waiting to die, to be honest. I can't face walking into the room as they're just sitting there staring into space most days, with the telly either very loud or off.

They have crazy routines too, illogical ones.
I don't know how to respond.....undiagnosed aspie aged 80 something is a challenge and a fed up life partner.
Keep looking/googling and something will snap and fell right at some point.

A beautiful day has turned into a drama. DH had a car crash. He's ok. Car is not.

Oh how awful......car crashes are just the most scariest thing ever........hope he's ok.....they really shake one up when they happen too. Car driving is probably the most riskiest thing we all do everyday.

PS; Anyone got any suggestions which page I should go back to and read from?

You know what...when I come back after a break I just try and get with the flow...one of the very few things I went back to read was the dopester dog thread.

I've been out today .... making jewellery for the first time, banged out a couple of bits quite fastish. They didn't have an extensive range of beads though.... but I was there to see if I was 'able' or a ham-fisted idiot. Stuff's come out OK, to be fair. I'll take a photo when it's daylight - you can't take photos under energy saving lightbulbs with a camera phone.

One of the people doing the same as me had her head turned by one big bead..... silver .... £26!! So she had it. You pay for the stuff you use. Her bill was nearly £90 !!!!!!!!! Let's say I was very MSE about it all :) I've got two necklaces and two pairs of earrings to show for my outing.

Might have something else, different, going on at the weekend too, similar, but different. I'm excited, but I think this one really will be crash and burn for me. It'll be proper silver stuff this time.

Everybody and his dog thinks they can make this stuff and make a fortune..... I'm toying with the idea and plan to do the research, costings and timings, to see if I could find a niche... and enjoying it anyway, which is more important.

How about Hot Chocolates "I believe in miracles, wear a bra, you sexy thing......."?

Why are there so many people on here who have never had the delight of chips n gravy?

Lastly, wheree's fc123? She promised me a book recommendation last week!:(

I know I know...and I get an hour to sneak here and all the lights are red :(

Anyway....I'm not sure you are the right person to recommend it to afterall as it's not a novel but I am just obsesssed with it...and keep suggesting it to people. It's very bite size so each chapter is only 1 or 2 pages long and easily digestible as well as being so relevant.

It would be a good one for PN...and DS, if he's around. In fact it's so good I may have to PM him if he doesn't see this post....which is likely.:o

It is the most amazing self employed 'advice' book I have ever read.

    It's called Rework
    http://37signals.com/rework/

and Amazon reviews are here Linky .

My excuse is as follows...DD decided to delete her FB as it was making her 'depressed' (in the female teen sense)...she said it made her feel like everyone in the whole world (including her zillion 'freinds' on FB) were having an amzing time and she wasn't....so she deleted it.
The problem with this is I have a brand one which, whilst it isn't full on, does need updating every few days, any customer comments to be acknowledged and so on.......so I pay her pocket money to do this for us (as I don't really log in there much)....so I have had to do it instead...and then I end up reading all this stuff that people I know have posted (on my own account) and then you get involved in messages and so on.....and it can go on for hours 0-0.

So...she then decides to sort out our Twitter account (having deemed me rubbish at it...which is true as what can you write?)...so now my inbox is over flowing with Twitter followers/to follow/not to follow and it's crazee stuff...I mean how can Justin Beibers Blog follow us when we don't follow him?? So I have pressing soshall meedja issues like what is the protocol on deleting Justin Beibers Blog...I didn't know who he was until 4 weeks ago.

Some slightly dodgy stuff following us too....what do you do???

It's all sooooo stressy *tongue in cheek* :o

Apologies in advance to anyone else news that I missed as I did the last page and then 3 pages back from here.....

That's a good idea..I saw the car post in a quote and clicked it back.

Wow....and in bold....on the whole they can......finding a customer (with ready spends ) is the harder bit...didn't davesnave write a good one on this quoting from a plant lady he met years ago?

2 pairs of necklaces and 2 sets of earrings in one day sounds a lot to me...pics pics...we want to see pics :D

Do it do it.......won't take long to do costings at all.:D
If you finished the day feeling a glow, then definately do more.

You do your packaging ones afterwards.

Doing something dextrous is really good for the mind for some reason...humans brains love it....I think it's like a workout for them.

Lots of crafty threads on up your income, detailing what they do and how they do it cheaply. Blogs and stuff too, they also comment on what sells well. A good friend of mine makes jewellery but she doesn't really sell it as the market isn't good enough for paying punters.

I'm sure those who make the Troll beads do, and I bet those who make the cheaper copies do all right as well.

Luckily, we still get 'em at cost, as DW has a bit of a fetish....
