cashback without the hassle? companies offering cashback without having to post bills

First I seen this thread, never heard of the companies mentioned, but looking at this DMC site, its still up and running?

The Bradford store as well as others have closed and no answer to any of the emails and calls. Their cheque bounced. I have heard from numerous people whose cheques have also bounced and cannot contact the company...

Tiger7, sounds bad - I think something called Direct Mobile Communications Ltd is dissolved company.

Sorry to tell you (well you know), if its true, then its tough to see if you will get anything back - usually no money left with these things.

Companies house lists a company called "DIRECT MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED" as dissolved - there is no extra information to identify address of that company, who what when without paying for the service.

It may not be the same company or people as the web site but would be suspicious if the site operated and company was dissolved.

It looks like its a franchise operation (with that page listing several across the uk). there are telephone numbers on there which you might try to ring to find out whats going on.

Cannot get through to any of the numbers... looks like a lost cause! thanks for the advice though!!!

Me and my family are also owed cash from these cowboys.. i managed to contact them after they closed down.. and they said they were in difficulties due to investments not paying out.. but everyone would be payed out at the end of the year.

Their line has since gone dead... however they are operating from a new company called dolphinmobile.co.uk. They are also based in blackburn where dmc was. Its worth ringing them to ask them whats going on with your cashback and when they are going to pay, as they still claim people will be paid out when they get paid out from their investments.

The owners name is Irfan Patel and he is also at dolphinmobile.co.uk, he may even answer! with a different name of course.

they are advertising their new company on tv.. dont know how they r doing that if they dont have any money as they claim!

thanks for the info as i had given up hope...
will get this looked into and try recoup some of that cash!!
