Just say what you've said in your post, that you've been advised to refuse delivery as the order was cancelled and shouldn't have been delivered to you. They'll just return it to Matalan and that should be that!

Parcel arrived, thrilled to bits with it all. Prices as confirmation email, just chopped and changed a bit to get to the right amount, less what wasn't in stock.

Ordered a jam and a marmalade pot thingy, bought one yesterday in Marks sale, just in case this didn't get here in time, the Marks one is going back, this is loads nicer.

I did exactly what you said but the delivery man got a bit annoyed with my over apologies lol, he said theres no need to be so sorry love, its not your fault, really nice man. Thank you very much for the advice

received order today with broken sweet jar. does anyone know that if i take this to my local matalan store they will exchange it for me. dont know if i should as it shows i paid very little for it due to the codes. must say though dressing gown and tights are lovely. been looking for the knitted tights everywhere but didnt want to pay £15.00 for a pair:)

I would exchange it anyway, on the back of the delivery note it says stores will be pleased to arrange an exchange or refund.

They honored all my promo codes, Order came to £137.79, codes gave me discount of £78.79 so I paid £59 less than half price and good quality stuff. Only one item too small exchanged it in store today a shirt that was £12 full price and as they had it reduced to £9 in store they gave me a £3 refund hard not to dance at customer services

did you bring your invoice with you and matalan card? did they say anything about the prices so little?
it's just that they might ask for more money as we paid the discounted price.

Think I'm going to return my coat. Bit gutted because the discount was so good.

Their sizes seem weird though, the arms are a little tight, yet the rest of it is too big, giving it no shape at all.

What coat was it? I bought a coat too....... lol that'd be just my luck! Finally get my parcel (sometime in 2011 I'm guessing......) and the one thing I got for me wouldn't fit! :rotfl:
