Thanks for the secretarial help blue-eyed-girl, you too for yesterday Footiemad, great work from my team. It's always good to have warm welcomesand makes folk feel at home straightaway, I hope.
BTW blue-eyed-girl, I haven't had a two pound coin for ages either! Just a thought - perhaps we've got em all in our pots!!:rotfl:
Great news scuba! It's always good to hear people chugging along and gently getting their finances sorted and you don't really well - under Mr S's supervision, or maybe not!!!
Good luck with the exams, k8eh89 and are also am shocked but they charge for parking when exams are in progress, it's disgusting! Under the circumstances I think you can be forgiven for having borrowed some from your pot…don't forget to pay it back as soon as you can, though it isn't stealing, it's borrowing!
Well done Lost, a good amount there.
you're very welcome hotspur_pam, as for the great leadership  - well, I couldn't agree with you more!:rotfl:
After shopping this morning came back with £3.77, all now cuddled up with the rest of them having a group hug :grouphug: (not that sort!) in the pot now. Ahhh, what a lovely thought. it's okay folks, it's the sun, it's getting to me fast.
Ok then folks I'll see you all later, take care of yourselves.
Sue x

Thanks for the warm welcome Sue:) Its great to be here. This coming weeks available money for the pot will depend on how much I spend at the supermarket so I am aiming for a store cupboard week, I figure 7 days of using up stuff wont be too bad to cope with. I am planning within an inch of my life! I also have a lot of things organised for this week, Butlins tomorrow, although we are getting in for £3 per person curtesy of a friend of my sisters. I am also out with friends in town this weekend for the first time in a year! I have a budget for this and also I have to pay for a sitter. There are also annual fees to pay for kids club, £25. Hopefully I can pay this out of this weeks money, if not, it will be next weeks.
I actually can't believe tomorrow is wednesday, half term almost gone already!November NSD's - 70 -
Thanks for all the good wishes, pot family! I am aching today but feeling a great sense of achievement (not enough to prevent me from vowing never to run again though!) Well done for signing up for the Race For Life, blue_eyed_girl - another fantastic cause which needs all the support it can get, good on you for joining in and hope you really enjoy it, that one always has a great atmosphere.
Three shiny 20ps in the pot for me today, but also managing to tuck plenty away in my ISA (my virtual savings pot!), and my flat deposit fund, so I am a happy saver! Now I just need to decide what to spend my pot money on - I think I should contribute this to something on the wish list, but it's soooo long - hmm, I may need a bigger pot...! xHouse Deposit Fund - £30,000 / Fees Fund - £5,000Furniture Fund - £2,500 / White Goods Fund - £2,500 / Flooring Fund - £2,500Emergency Fund - £7,500365 Day Penny Challenge for 2025 - £559.17/£667.95 (Holiday Fund)£2 Savers Club for 2025 - £24/£200 (Christmas Fund)52 Week Card Challenge for 2025 - £191/£400 (Fun Fund)0 -
hellooooooooooooooo feelow potters!
Happy day for me today, my little lad is 10 today  someone seems to have stolen 9 years of his life as im sure he was only 1 last week
A hefty £6.27 potted today, £1.27 from change from shopping, and a crisp fiver courtesy of little man as he wanted to renew his club penguin membership (£3.99) which I did through paypal and gave him a £1 change, i figured as the £5 didnt come out of my 'real' money I could do without it
Hubby is still ciggie free and enjoying the clunking sound of his £6 every other day, it does depress me to keep having to take soooooo many £1 coins out of the bank, even im getting shocked at how much he used to literally send up in smoke :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
oh and congratulations to skilly on the safe arrival of Imogen
happy grand daughter spoiling! My mum always said, if she realised how much fun, and how little work grand kids were she would have skipped her own kids entirely :rotfl:
