Thanks everyone, I do keep looking out for coins plus my fiance gives me his 1,2 and 5p coins :)

It's to help with Xmas presents. I think I spent less than £30 in total on presents and stuff for about 8 people though only 5 got a present... I've got nearly £7 in coins and a £5 note.
Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.

Using an empty celebrations tin for my pot (shame it was already empty :rotfl:) and after ransacking the house (various drawers, pots and other places where loose change seems to accumulate) my starting pot stands at £11.83

Not too bad, but plan to empty my penny pot in the car, my desk drawer at work and various handbags tonight.

P.S possibly a stupid question... what's roadkill? :/ (not the furry kind I hope )

Hi k8eh89 its not a stupid question ;) road kill is money you find while out and about..walking the dog if you have one, walking yourself,:rotfl: out shopping at the supermarkets near the trollies, anywhere really except home and purse.

Sparky is the king of that although he does have some stilff competition but not from me I hasten to add. :o
    Happy potting.

Oh right! Haha. I don't do much walking so perhaps the incentive of finding a little 'roadkill' might spur me on :D
