    My poor sealed pot has been a bit neglected of late and has only been getting fed irregular and small amounts as not had much change.
    However last night put coins in that were over 10 pence pieces so hoping it continues.

    Although I have to mention the roadkill:
    Saturday: 10p,20p,20p
    Monday: 5p,5p,5p,1p
    Today: 1p,2p,5p,5p
  • hello everyone,

    had too much to do over the weekend so didnt get near the computer.

    i potted 81p friday and a pound each saturday , sunday and monday..............however dh told me last nite he had put change in too on a couple of days so ive no idea whats now in the pig pot. cant make my mind up whether to open and count it and keep a running total or whether to leave for a total surprise...........trouble is the suspense of waiting to find out me drive me up the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!! think i may have to count it hmmmmm..

    dont worry willow my sons a poor student too. he used to laugh at me putting bits of money in jars and envelopes for this that and the other. now hes had 6 months at uni hes got his own pot going and he puts his loose change in there too. says if he doesnt no one will get a pressie this xmas:eek:.

    obviously i keep encouraging him!!!! several times hes broken in to it when desparate but least he had a few quid in there and didnt have to borrow.:A think at last he must be learning something
