How do everyone, I hope all's well with everyone, but if it isn't that it soon is.

Hi Footiemad, thanks a lot for your lovely words a page or two back, I'm getting better thanks, though I'd love to shift this bally cough.

Great news on only needing to pay £20 for your Sister's wedding, ladsmadd, good luck with the rest.

Have a wonderful time with your visitors, skilly, will you be going to visit them?

Hi sparky, so you too have had problems with orange, same here with eclipse, though they're having work done - doesn't stop it from being a real pest to us all though! You won't believe this, but T has just wondered if Orange was feeling the squeeze!!!:rotfl:

So here I am sitting at my desk at work and I spy with my little eye a shiny 5p under my colleagues desk by her foot!! What to do!!!!!

    Tell him/her, Nickyj, it's only fair. If he/she says it's not his/hers then maybe that's a different matter! ;)

I hope you're soon feeling much better, curly.

Here's hoping you had a lovely time on your weekend away, WER and well done on the 1p!!! :D

Good for you, fedupandskint, see you next month.

Excellent news on your £57.44 banked, Fredula!! :T

Have I missed Sue's post's or is she missing?

Fingers crossed with the moving youngmummy, the chicken too if you decide on them. You could try just a couple, we love ours and have 8. BTW there's a thread on here!

DH went shopping for me today (the cold is playing havoc with my cough) and brought back 2 x £2ers!!!!! PLUS £3.57!!! Bless him :kisses2:

Have a good night all, and a great day tomorrow.

£1.01 in the pot today, 71p from postage change and 30p hubby left on the side after he emptied his pockets to put work trousers in the wash. I left it overnight but he didnt pick it back up so obviously he must have left it there for potting! :shhh:

Hello LC2, nice to see you back aswell :D

Not a happy bunny today as dishwasher packed up, rang to get an engineer and they wanted to charge me the princely sum of either £125 one off call out charge or £14.99 a month for 12 month warranty! After kindly telling them to 'bog right off i'll buy anew 'non hotpoint' machine' (had an engineer out to either the dishwasher or washing machine 6 times now grrr) suddenly a magical 3rd cheaper warranty appeared for £11.99. Still expensive but they also agreed to a engineer coming today. Well hes been, swapped a bit in it and gone and the blasted thing has just packed up again with same fault and what a surprise they cant send an engineer till monday:mad:

    Not a happy customer

  • Hi I am trying to put all £2 coins into my pot and have added £10 this past couple of weeks :)
So that makes a grand total of £10.80!! Think i need to put my pot in a prominent place so i am encouraged to add to it - rather than hidden away so i don't raid it - what do you all think?!!

    Hi everyone
£3 in my pot today. Love it when I get a £2 coin in my change. Got some new reading glasses today and am annoyed to find that I can't read unless computer/book is about 6 inches from my face. Grrrr have to spend more on extra petrol to take them back!!!

Make sure it's SEALED DDFD to avoid temptation, then put it somewhere so it reminds you to keep adding to it ~ and look ahead to opening it on December 1st! The latter being the incentive NOT to open it before, as you'll be so disappointed if you do! ;)

Oh dear, jakes-mum, such a rotten shame about the dishwasher. Check out uk appliances before buying as they had a great insurance offer a couple of months ago, worth it for something like a DS.

Be absolutely sure the glasses aren't ok before going back, mommyof4! You should have been tested with them with reading some text from a card before coming out with them, in which case they should be ok. Using the same pair for reading a book is totally different from using glasses with a 'puter. Check them again first.

    Night all. Take care.

Hiya Sue-UU ive already taken the warranty out which is a good thing as ive now just turned it on (as it was working intermittently) and got a completely new error code come up on it so god knows what the repairman has done to the thing . It wont even fill with water now so im not sure if hes maybe dropped something inside it when he took the panel off and got it stuck in the small pump. Gonna get hubby to take a look at it tomorrow as hes very good with things like that. Id do it myself now but im worried i wouldnt get the blinking pump back on properly after and flood the kitchen when testing it
